About Shirone
Shirone was a city situated in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Starting at 2003, the city had an expected populace of 39,966 and thickness of 518.63 people per km². In June every year, Shirone has the week-long Giant Kite Festival takomatsuri. Contradicting groups framed by inhabitants fight over the Nakanoguchi River utilizing monsters kites. The kites are hand made and painted by the colleagues for the span of the first year. Each kite measures about 7m x 3m and ordinarily sports a picture of an eminence samurai, nearby figure, or mascot connoting the zone or group support.
Each group lines their side of the waterway and runs the kite into flight. When airborne, the kites are conveyed by the breeze and the hand-made lines are constantly tangled. This is because of the overall breeze heading in June and the specific course of the waterway. The groups at that point take part in a pull of war until the ropes break- - the triumphant group being the group that pulls over a greater amount of the rival's rope.
