About Kitakyushu
Kitakyushu is one of two assigned urban communities in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Kokura, the core of Kitakyushu, is an old primitive palace town guarding the Straits of Shimonoseki. Kokura should be the objective of the second atomic bomb in World War II. In any case, it was shady upon the arrival of the assault and the plane occupied to Nagasaki. Kokura Castle, the main stronghold left remaining in Fukuoka Prefecture, was first worked in 1602 by Hosokawa Tadaoki and finished six years after the fact. Kokura stronghold was demolished by flame in 1837, with parts of it revamped by 1839.
Dominating the chateau is the vast Riverwalk Kitakyushu, a shopping and diversion complex with a multiplex silver screen, a sustenance court, the Kitakyushu Performing Arts Cente and a branch of the principle Kitakyushu Municipal Museum of Art. The Riverwalk Kitakyushu configuration was embraced by the same Jon Jerde-drove building group who constructed the comparative multi-utilize Canal City in Fukuoka.
There are ious neighborhood celebrations held during the time in the Kitakyushu zone yet the most well known are the three Gion Matsuri held each July including immense buoys in the wards of Tobata, Kurosaki, and Kokura. The greatest of these is the Tobata one. The greatest celebration in Kitakyushu is the Wasshoi Hyakuman Natsu Matsuri held toward the beginning of August. This is a cutting edge celebration made to praise the formation of Kitakyushu and it highlights components from the other customary celebrations and in addition an enormous yosakoi move march and a monster firecrackers show.
