Biscarrosse

Biscarrosse is a collective in the Landes office in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France. It is found 65 km southwest of Bordeaux, and 10 km inland from the ocean side retreat of Biscarrosse-Plage on the Atlantic coast. Close Biscarrosse is the CEL national test focus from which various French military rockets have been propelled for test purposes. In like manner, the CEL has offices for propelling regular citizen rockets to think about the upper climate.

Close to the town focus, outside the Cafe de l'orme, there was what is accepted to have been the most established elm tree in Europe. Planted in 1350, this Field Elm Ulmus minor passed on in 2010 after at long last surrendering to Dutch elm disease. Legend has it that young ladies esteemed unbridled were compelled to stand stripped upon a barrel underneath the tree for multi day. One shocking, unreasonably denounced, kicked the bucket of disgrace, the tree every year delivering a crown of whitened leaves in her memory. The cooperative has an airplane terminal, called Biscarrosse - Parentis Airport.
