About Chestnut Festival

The Chestnut Festival is a verifiable reminiscent occasion that happens on the first and second few days of October 4-6, 11-13 October in Soriano nel Cimino in the region of Viterbo, in Upper Lazio or Tuscia. The sources of the occasion are old and go back to a celebration set up by the Community Council toward the finish of the 15th century out of appreciation for the most run of the mill result of the zone: the chestnut.

The present celebration is created in two ways: verifiable re-sanctioning, and the praise to a standout amongst the most liberal products of the domain, the chestnut, which has sustained rustic populaces for quite a long time. In nowadays of festivity, Soriano is enveloped by an extremely suggestive air: everything richly adorned offers life to reminiscent scenes that are somewhere between genuine and mystical occasions and old convictions. The Chestnut Festival offers a program brimming with attractions and side occasions.

- The nourishment and wine agenda among the kinds of antiquated occasions at the bars of the four regions.

- The Joust of the Rings.

- The Tournament of the Archers.

- The well known Games, the best time and evergreen.
