Pick up from your hotel and depart Nairobi for a journey south along the floor of the great Rift Valley then past Narok climb the western wall entering Hemingway’s country ’’Serengeti plans’’. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve.
Full day game viewing whereby you leave the camp with picnic lunch.The Mara is the land of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature’s few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip.
Early morning game drive enroute. Breakfast at the camp. Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch is served enroute. A stop is provided at Narok to browse the Masai city. Arrive Nakuru in the evening for dinner and overnight. Game drive is not available in Nakuru on this day as arrival time is late.
Early breakfast. Proceed for an extensive morning game drive in this beautiful park. This shallow Soda Lake has been famous for its flamingos but has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. You may get out of the vehicle at the lake shore to get a closer look at the birds. The nearby cliffs offer sightings of baboons, birds of prey and scurrying hyraxes, as well as great views of the park. The national park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, water buck, buffaloes, reed bucks, and the occasional leopard as well as white and black rhinos which were introduced to the park some years ago. Depart for Nairobi with lunch en-route. Arrive in the early evening. Drop off at your hotel or airport.
