Start your morning relaxing at the yurt camp or on the beach. In the afternoon, you will meet with fourth generation eagle handlers, hear their stories, and watch a demonstration of Salburuun. Make sure to get your picture taken with one of their majestic golden eagles. Next you’ll depart for an hour long hike to the panoramic viewpoint where you will watch the sunset over the lake.

Depart from the South Shore and head toward Karakol with a few exciting stops along the way. First stop: Fairy Tale Canyons. Hike through this magnificent space and marvel at the formations created by millennia of wind and water erosion. Next you’ll depart for Barskoon Village. A short walk into the gorge and you’ll be transfixed by this stunning series of waterfalls, with fun names like, Tears of a Bars, Oldman Beard, Splashes of Champagne and Cup of Manas. Don’t forget to check out the Soviet-era Cosmonaut sculpture at the entrance to the falls. Your next destination is Jeti-Oguz Valley. Stop at broken heart rock then walk over to the Jeti-Oguz bluffs. Take some time to explore and soak-in this amazing example of Mother Nature’s power and beauty. Enjoy a relaxing lunch in the Kok-Dzhayyk pastures, also known as the “Valley of the Flowers” for its May poppy bloom, before heading to Karakol. Take advantage of some independent exploration time by visiting the Dungan Mosque and the Russian Orthodox Church. Meet back up with your group again in the evening for dinner at a local café.

Today you will head to Issyk-kul’s famous resort town, Cholpon-Ata. Take the day to relax and soak-in the sun at the beach. Finish the day, with a sunset cruise and a dinner party, hosted by our friends at a local restaurant.

Start your day with a visit to Cholpon-Ata’s open air petroglyph museum then travel to Kemin National Park. Your motorcade will stop for lunch in Boom-Gorge. After lunch prepare for an adventure as you begin your 2-hour white-water rafting excursion on Naryn River. Afterward, head to your guesthouse where local artisans will teach you how to make traditional Kyrgyz felt products.

In the morning leave your guesthouse and head back to Bishkek. On your way, stop at Burana Tower, all that remains of the once powerful, 11th century city, Balasagun. Your motorcade will arrive in Bishkek at noon. Join your group for one last lunch together before heading to Osh Bazaar for souvenir shopping.
