Otago

Otago is a area of New Zealand in the south of the South Island administered by using the Otago Regional Council. It has an area of about 32,000 rectangular kilometres, making it the country's 0.33 largest local authorities area. Its population became 229,2 hundred in June 2018. The name "Otago" is an Anglicisation of "Otakou", the call of the Māori village near the doorway to the harbour.
