About Aso
Aso is a city situated in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. The cutting edge city of Aso was built up on February 11, 2005, from the merger of the previous town of Aso, retaining the town of Ichinomiya, and the town of Namino.
The Aso Uchinomaki-onsen-kyo Hot Spring Village, with in excess of 100 hot springs, is the biggest among them.
