Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Airport Kandy

1. Arrival at the airport. Meet and greet by Sterling Holidays Representative.

2. Transfer to the hotel in Kandy.

3. Kandy is renowned for the great Kandy Esala Perahera, held over 10 days leading up to the Nikini poya (full moon) at the end of the month of Esala (July/August), but it has enough attractions to justify a visit at any time of year. Some of the Hill Country’s nicest boutique hotels nestle in the hills surrounding Kandy, and the city is a good base for exploring the underrated terrain of the nearby Knuckles Range.

4. In the evening watch the Cultural Dance for free.

5. Overnight stay at a Hotel in Kandy.

Day 2 : Kandy

1. Breakfast at the hotel.

2. Visit Dalanda Maligawa & it’s museum, Elephant bath.

3. Watch the Kandy Perahera for free Tickets.

4. The Esala Perahera in Kandy is one of the oldest and grandest of all Buddhist festivals in Sri Lanka, featuring dancers, jugglers, musicians, fire-breathers, and lavishly decorated elephants. The Kandy Esala Perahera lasts for ten days while various festivities can be witnessed right throughout. The Sinhalese term ‘Perahera’ means a parade of musicians, dancers, singers, acrobats and various other performers accompanied by a large number of caparisoned Tuskers and Elephants parading the streets in celebration of a religious event.

5. Have a memorable photograph of Perahera for free.

6. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 3 : Kandy Airport

1. Breakfast at the hotel.

2. Enjoy shopping at Kandy City Centre, Antique, Batik & Gem shop.

3. Leave to the Airport & assist on departure.

» Terms : i. Guide: Groups over 15 pax local/ foreign guide will be FOC basis. Groups below 15 pax local/foreign guide will be charged 50% of Meal basis.
ii. Children: Children below 6 years will stay free of charge and 6-12 will be charge 50% of the sharing double rate when shared with parents.
iii. Payments: Reservation are to be done in advance 50% of the total amount should be paid as a deposited to guarantee the reservation
iv. Full payment should be done prior to the departure.
v. Cancellation: Any reservation cancelled less than 10 days to the date of arrival will incur a cancellation fee charged up to the full amount paid in advanced.
