5 Days Siem Reap to Phnom Kulen Tour Package

Upon arrival at Siem Reap international airport, you will be welcomed by escort tour guide (with name sign) and then transferred directly to your hotel for check in. After check in, we depart to the boat pier where we embark a private boat to Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and witness lifestyles animated by fishing activities and learn about its ecosystem. Return for a guided city tour at Le Artisan d’Angkor and old market (if we still have time after visiting Tonle Sap). Enjoy Khmer set dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight in Siem Reap for 4 nights.

Breakfast is at hotel. Depart at 8.00am to unlock the intertwined Ta Prohm jungle temple where Lara Croft – Thomb Raider was filmed. Continue visit other interesting temples within grand circuit including Preah Khan, Ta Som, Ta Keo, Banteay Kdei and Srah Srang. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, visit the intricately carved, pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srey – considered to be a Jewel of Khmer art which features elaborate decorations and fine detail. Return to visit palm sugar making and other various local handicraft souvenirs before visiting the serenity of Banteay Samre. We will view sunset over the rice paddies from Pre Rup temple. Enjoy dinner at a selected local restaurant.

Breakfast is at hotel. Depart hotel at 8.00am, enjoy sightseeing of rural countryside with more than 1 hour drive to visit one of Cambodia’s best National Parks well known as Phnom Kulen. This hill used to be the ancient capital city and in 802AD - after King Jayavarman II was initiated as the royal “God of the King”. Visit Kraol Remeas temple and Preah Ang Thom (Giant Buddha statue), it’s a very special and holy place and there are many people religiously respect and pray for happiness (Lunch is provided at the site near the waterfalls). Return to the waterfall (Toek Thleak) where we can refresh and relax under Khmer style hut. Evening, we go for buffet dinner followed by Apsara performance at a selected local restaurant.

We depart hotel at 4.45am before the dawn, visit spectacular sunrise over Angkor Wat towers and its beautiful sunrise reflection at the lotus pond. Enjoy your packed breakfast or return hotel for breakfast before visiting the famous 7th Wonders of the World – the legendary Angkor Wat Temple. This incredible complex was built by Suryavarman II in the middle of the 12th century. Have lunch at a selected local restaurant. Afternoon, continue to the South gate of Angkor Thom, the capital of Jayavarman VII. We visit Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces and admire some of temples such as the terrace of elephants, the terrace of the leper King, Baphuon and Phimeanakas. Evening, 6:00pm transfer to local restaurant then enjoy Khmer set dinner before visiting Phare Cambodia circus at 8:00pm, Phare Circus is an amazing blend of traditional and modern theater, music, dance, acrobatic, juggling and contortion beautifully choreographed and performed around stories about Cambodian lives, customs, and society.

Breakfast is at hotel. Free time or have a guided orientation around La Artisan d’Angkor & shopping at old market. Have Khmer set lunch at a selected local restaurant. Our tour guide and driver transfer you to Siem Reap international airport for your flight departure.
