On arrival at Airport, after clearing with immigration and customs continue drive to Serengeti National Park considered the mecca of Wildlife and Safari. The Serengeti hosts the largest terrestrial mammal migration in the world, which helps secure it as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, and one of the ten natural travel wonders of the world. The Serengeti is also renowned for its large lion population and is one of the best places to observe prides in their natural environment.
Full-day game drive includes different tracks in the vast Serengeti. You are out on the hunt across the plains in search of hungry predators - lion, leopard and cheetah, each anxiously trying to prey upon the grazing herds. Use your binoculars to scan the horizon and look for movement. Topi and hartebeest, occasional beautiful kudu, sometimes graze among the huge antelope, zebra and gnu herds. Dikdik, the smallest antelope, scamper about the bush, huge crocs and hippo thrive in the park's rivers, eagles and storks soar overhead.
Breakfast at the lodge and depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Olduvai Gorge. Visit a local Masai village in the Olduvai Gorge area and experience their unique ways of living and their traditions which they have carried on for generations.
After breakfast we descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a morning game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.
Breakfast at the lodge and depart for Lake Manyara. After lunch we head into the Lake Manyara National Park. This impressive park is one of Tanzania's most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. The park's varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa's largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara's famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.
After an early breakfast, depart for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippo, monkey, tree climbing lion, flamingo and other variety of birdlife. At mid-morning, drive to Mt. Kilimanjaro. For those who do not wish to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro to the top and yet want to experience the magic of the Mountain then a day trip to the first hut will be ideal for them. This hike to the first hut will allow you to have a feel of the mountain for one day and the hike through the rain forest will be breathtaking. On a clear day you will be in a position to see and hear birds singing in the bushes, monkeys jumping from tree to tree and the breathtaking landscape and vegetation.
