Vysocina

The Vysosina Region is an administrative unit of the Czech Republic, located partially inside the south-east a part of the historic vicinity of Bohemia and partly within the south-west of the historical area of Moravia. Its capital is Jihlava. The region is the region of mountain tiers, Zdarske vrchy and Jihlavske vrchy, both part of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands.

The Vysocina Region is domestic to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the maximum in any area within the Czech Republic. The location is one among just 3 inside the country. which does now not have a border with a overseas country. With 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the region is domestic to more of those than any other area of the Czech Republic. These are the historic centre of Telc, the Pilgrimage Church of Saint John of Nepomuk in Zdar nad Sazavou and the Jewish Quarter and St Procopius' Basilica in Trebic.
