Tepeji

Tepeji is one of the eighty four municipalities of Hidalgo, in primary-jap Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 393.4 km². The town is thought for its stunning, Lake Requena, a sizeable lake often used for boating and fishing. It is also the birthplace of Mexican footballer Raul Jimenez. Tepeji del Rio has many industrial complexes with companies inclusive of Procter and Gamble, Kaltex, Arteche, Zaga, PPG, Pilgrims Pride and many others. Amanali Country Club & Nautica has a golf direction located inside the northern part of the city overlooking Lake Requena, along side related residential regions.

Plaza del Rio, Tepeji's major plaza, has most of the metropolis's commercial shops, along with a Comercial Mexicana, a Pemex fuel station, a Cinepolis film theater, a Domino's Pizza, and some other stores. The 2010 census suggested that the municipality had a total population of eighty,612, though the welcome avenue sign on the south front of Tepeji states a population of one hundred,000. Though relevant Mexico has experienced fast urbanization, Tepeji sits simply outside of the Mexico City Metropolitan area. As of September fifth, 2016, Tepeji is ruled via Moisés Ramírez Tapia, member of the New Alliance Party.
