IRIS Spa & Resort is not just any luxurious wildlife resort. It\'s a lot more than that - a dream turned into reality! It\'s an interesting story. We live at Ramnagar, one and a half hour\'s drive from Jim Corbett National Park. Living in the close vicinity of this world-renowned tourist spot and in the nature-rich Kumaon region of Uttarakhand itself, we developed a strong affinity for everything wildlife. Often, as teenagers, we stepped into the jungles of Corbett and explored its various facets for hours on end. It felt like a wonderful escape from the hum-drum of city life as we reconnected with nature, went on treks and feasted on the unadulterated beauty of nature. As our exploration continued, year after year, our appreciation for the wilderness in Corbett also grew manifolds. We also shared our practical knowledge with our friends and close ones who lived far away from the state. Our fiery inclination towards wildlife one day led us to a wonderful idea - Why not establish our own wildlife resort? We felt a genuine urge to help people dig deep into the wildlife treasures of the Jim Corbett National Park and soak up the awesomeness. We thought that establishing a wildlife resort of our own at Corbett will provide us with an excellent opportunity to let travellers – right from backpackers and honeymooners to families - enjoy some beautiful moments of solitude in the lap of nature. We consulted our family and friends, and they jumped at our idea. We knew it was a great thing to do. So, in the year 2011, we founded - the IRIS Spa & Resort. That\'s why we say that this wildlife resort is a \'dream turned into reality\'. Its very foundation rests on surpassing the expectations a traveller visiting the Jim Corbett National Park may have.
