My tour arranged by make india journey, initial support was good, then after starting the tour, the support was negligible..., The hotel arranged in tour was not enough good, food quality was also poor, my candle ligjt dinner in hotel was patthetic..., Overall my experience regarding this tour was not satisfactory, i am not satisfied at all..., I ll not book any tour in future from make india journey.

It was a hassle free tour as agreed they have made all arrangements and we have enjoyed it. 1. They sent Innova vehicle of Shimla to Amrithsar and the driver was not well versed with roads and he was repeatedly stopping the vehicle to ask people or at places made mistake of route resulting in loss of time. But then we had to take help of Google maps. 2. We had asked for 3 Star hotel but the Shimla one was like a service apartment. However the hotel people looked after us very well supplied good vegetarian food. Initially they said they will charge us for the room heater and finally did not charge us at Shimla. 3. The Amritsar hotel was good and they also supplied excellent Vegetarian food.
It was a very good experience with the said co. We are totally satisfied with the services provided by Mr. Thakur & he was was very much co operative & the driver was also very good.

Experience is very good, Travel agency also helpful, but I think the communication between travel agency and Transport agency is not so good. Cabs driver misguide on few cases for extra pocket money, say on Kufri he suggest one horse travel agent who was very bad, he took the money from us and not leave us 2 km away from destination point. The Agent name is "KD". another case was cabs driver drive from Manali to Chandigarh on service root, the root is dangerous and almost 100km more that Highway root, I think he did this as because he can show the KM distance more for more money. At last cab driver not leave us on Chandigarh station, travel agency arranged two auto to leave us. "Travelers must know these things so in that cases they will not harass"

It was a nightmare. The hotel maharaja in Shimla was below average and the food quality bad. The Innova which took us from New Delhi to Chandigarh had a bad tyre which had to be replaced near Chandigarh. Then we shifted to the second Innova at Chandigarh to proceed to Shimla & Manali. This vehicle had a single AC & the driver used the AC very sparingly even on plain roads. Our family suffered in the heat. In Manali Hotel The Moon was average, but the service was excellent and food was good. We complained about the Hotel Maharaja in Shimla to the travel agent & he assured us that he will give us a better hotel in Shimla on our return. We had to stay for two nights on return to Shimla. We were allotted Hotel Basera near Hotel Maharaja. But this hotel was worst. In one room the ceiling was leaking and the floor of the room was wet. In the 2nd room stained bedsheet was spread on the bed. Between two occupants a single towel was provided. After complaining the bedsheet was changed & 2nd towel provided. In the morning there was no water supply in the washrooms.The food quality was very bad. Then we complained to the travel agent again & just for one night we were transferred to a good hotel. Hotel Gulmarg Residency. We got a feeling that at all the tourist spots & eating joints the driver of the vehicle had some tie-up as we were forced against our wish to stop at these places & take horse rides & don the snow attire. Overall it was a bitter experience & we have decided that its better not to go through any travel agency & always go independently as towards the end of the tour the agents stopped responding to our calls. Our humble suggestion to you is to please do your homework properly before suggesting any travel agency.
It was an eye opener. There was absolute lack of clear and transparent communication between the Agent and subagents nominated for Vehicle and Hotel arrangements. The commitments were not met even after paying higher price for the changes requested and to top it, we were left stranded in cold until evening for 3 hrs in Dalhousie due to the clash of personal interests between Welcome tours and Vehicle driver, finally we ended up staying in a Hotel in Dalhousie instead of original plan of Khajjiar. After experience of initial 2 days stay we understood the intentions of these agents and had to insist on the providing the deliverable that were assured like complimentary breakfast and Dinner. No information / communication was made available before hand, regarding the weather conditions prevailing in Manali to refrain us from travelling to Manali, and were transferred to a low class hotel and manali had no power. Regarding our stay booked in Dharamshala, we were taken by surprise when we were directed to some another Hotel instead of the Hotel that was committed in the Itinerary virtually 13km away from Dharamshala, when I refused to stay and insisted to go as per the Hotel booking in the itinerary, was surprised to note that it was cancelled a day before. Overall I have lost trust in the agents and understood there sole motive is to misguide and take advantage.
