We have visited Bhutan with a family of 3, husband wife and a child of 10 years organised by Naturewings a tour operator.. A heartful thanks to Mr. Sandip Raha to organise our trip in a systematic way, the hotels suggested in thimphu,punakha and paro was excellent. I would highly recommended Naturewings. It was really a memorable trip.

Excellent assistance with finalizing the places to visit and hotels. They shared photos of the hotels so we could make an informed decision and customized a great package for us. We were provided a private vehicle to take us around, the driver was good, friendly and knowledgeable about-about Bhutan. We were given assistance even after we reached Bhutam for any other need we had. NatureWings delivered what they promised.

Good service, responsible travel agent makes all efforts to give full satisfaction

Every thing was good in Bhutan. But last day drop vehicle to New Alipurduar is very old and dirty mini bus.

Naturewings travels promised 5 star resorts but provided 3 star for 2 days out of 5 days. Gokul Marda Solapur

I hold hello travel to be a reputable site and am thoroughly shocked that the travel agency "Nature Wings" it stated as verified was in fact a horror story holiday travel agency. My review may seem long but my travails due to Nature Wings Mr. Sandip Raha are longer.

1. All was near well till I paid them for the air tickets and 50% advance for the tour.

2. Inspite if them booking my Air tickets, his people would feign ignorance or denial of tour start date. We were two female travellers that was stated right in the beginning so much so our passport copies were scanned and sent to them for the permits. Still each time there was a mess up from nature wings Sandip Raha would throw the absurd reasoning by yelling that we did not inform them that two females were travelling and hence the problem.

3. We were stranded at bagdogra airport for over an hour. The airport drew vacant with just us waiting for our pick up. When I called Raha, he yelled (yes, that's the way he treats his customers) that he had hundreds of guests to look into and we should wait for whenever the pick up happens and he bangs down the phone. Drivers number is SMS used on my insistence. I come to know that the driver leaves to pick us only after I call him.

4. Once we reached the border town of Bhutan near phuent sholling his Indian collaborative partner R S Travels, Rakesh Sharma works hand in glove with him. We get a rude reception with statements you will not get your permits inspite of getting the full payment. The car and driver will change and you will get that at 9:30/10 Indian time next morning not earlier (Bhutan is half hour early due to early sunset). When we request for a earlier pick up since Thimpu is 5 hours away and sightseeing was enroute. They tell us to take our money later and return home now and they won't send any car. We have no option but to agree

5. This is the icing. On check in to Park Hotel I am given a standard room inspite of paying for a deluxe room. I had the vouchers from nature wings. The hotel and R. S Travels show me written proof that Nature Wings has booked a standard room.

When Raha is contacted, he states that "we will be given standard rooms only. So what if Deluxe and premium is written in vouchers, this is what we will get. You may cancel your holiday if you want" and then comes the statement which was said earlier in the day. I quote, "If you don't keep Sandip Raha happy, you will not be happy on your holiday" I was shocked to hear such a statement. When asked for an explanation he repeats it again and again. I reiterate that his full payment has been made and we should get the hotel rooms that we paid for but he just disconnects the line. This was repeated in all the other 3 hotel bookings of bhutan. We came to know through the hotels that they book standard rooms and send people with deluxe room vouchers, ask the hotels to upgrade and then don't pay them. By the time we arrived the Bhutanese hotels had enough of Nature Wings and R.S. Travels and didnt want to cooperate.

6. I had asked for a guide for the tour, to which I was told that the driver was the guide. But all the driver did was drive to a site drop us off and thats it. No other information.

In short, nature wings is a scamster travel agency moving towards a bigger scam conning travellers. Mr.Sandip Raha the owner lacks basic manners and courteousness, ethics and is not trustworthy.

My tip to fellow travellers book through a bhutanese agency since they have ethics, a tourist council to take action against swindlers and have greater knowledge of their country and sites.
