I travelled with Monk & Monkeys. Though it is the first time i am coming across this agency, my daughter and my self had a very safe, satisfactory journey thoroughout our stay in Kolkatta, Bhubaneswar, Bodhgaya and Varanai. I had to skip Darjeeling as i had only a very short stay in India to cover these places. The hotels were good especially the last two days we were given a very good 3 or 4 star hotel. We even tried India's fast trains Shatabdi and Rajdhani. Well it was worth the experience. Though I personally prefer Rajdhani over Shatabdi. The guide in Kolkata spoke in good English and was very informative.

In the average. The car we uses are almost ok, even if the wheels of the car were very worn and the way back to the airport one break down. The driver changed it and we arrived still in time. The first Hotel in Chennai was terrible as the one in Wayanad. The people of the Hotel in Mahabalipuram tried to put us (four people) in a room of two. After I complained finally they gave us a room by four. I believe that sometimes the agency was just missing.

The Jaipur trip was fine. But, In the Udaipur, Hotel Check in was not provided timely and this lead to waste of time as we could not get ready on time to go out. Also, Rooms provided were not as per the plan i.e. Double rooms were provided in place of Triplex. Hence, Overall rating is Average only.

The worst ever trip of my life. Water leaking from Hotel room roof tops on bed. Hotel just like a roadside hotel whers as committed 2/3,star. Our rooms allotted to some other people. Breakfast & dinner as promised not as per confirmation - very poor Entire breakfast half cooked (kaccha). Tempo traveller putting pressure to move back one day earlier or will return back leaving us there. We were about to lodge a police complaint Either compensate our loss or we shall post our views on site wherever applicable with comments as above & Recomend never to contact Ghoomloduniya (A Monks & Monkeys Travels Pvt Ltd Company) for tour packages. The driver confirmed it was only appointment till one day earlier We were about to lodge fir several times talked to travel agents as well as driver Finally we had a trip of tension whereas people go for pleasure and enjoy : Inspite of paying advance payment we had to pay 5000/- to driver at sukhdev dhaba in haryana because the amt was not paid to him by travel agent : driver returned the amount :

At the beginning the agency promised to bring us in a particular hotel in Kovalam, which is on the beach. But after payed all the amount, they informed us that, since everything was already booked, a different accommodation 15 minutes walk from the beach was available. We preferred this agency, between the others, also for the place they could set in Kovalam. Also they cannot evaluate the right time to go from one place to another. For instance to go from Munnar to Kovalam, we spent 12 hours by car, when they evaluate almost 4. I could never accept something like that (stay in the car so long) traveling with 2 daughters. Furthermore, I told them the right time my husband and my daughters arrived (4 a.m). But they did not inform the hotel, which organized for them a room for only 2 persons (instead than for 3) and, more, after more than an hour waiting. They were coming from Europe, it is a long trip! At that time my family desired only to take a rest, not to discuss with the people in the hotel and sleep in 2 beds instead that in 3! After that, our driver asked my husband to bring them around in the city. But mu husband informed him that they preferred just to rest for that day. However, to come to pick me up in the airport at 18:50 of the same day, as agreed in a lot of email, the agency asked us about 27 euros. I know that a taxi for that ride costs around 11 euros! Last in Kovalam, we paid in advance for see view rooms, but the first day we could have that, because the agency did not talked with the people of the hotel. This is my opinion: I cannot say that this agency is well organized!

We booked the Tour Plan with Monk & Monkey Travellers ( Ghom lo duniya) of Saket at Delhi just after Diwali vacation. The tour plan was not proper even if we were on holidays for 6 nights and 7 days. The executive who booked our tour; kept us busy in travelling from north of Kerala to South of Kerala and back to North from South. It wasted lot of time in travelling. Even if, we have paid 100% payment in advance, we have been asked to pay around 5% (INR 5000) extra payment to Driver of Transport. After 2 days of holiday; driver has asked another INR 10,000 cash and didn't start the Transport for 3 hrs. Our time was wasted in argument and arrangement of fund for driver. It was very headache and hassal for us. On the last day; the driver wanted to recover extra money for his past dues from agent. He started black mailing us in transport from Alleppy houseboat to Alleppy railway Station. He was supposed to drop us at Alleppy Railway Station; however, he took us at another route; may be towards Cohin? We cometo know in some time and asked him. Then he told us he will drop us Cochin even if our drop point was at Alleppy. It was basicallydue to Driver hijaced the Transport. All of 12 members of our tour were started shouting for help from outside. During Transport itself, we called Police helpline no. 100 and to Ms. Savita of Monk & Monkey Travel. Finally, we got one police station, where with the help of Police, we able to get out of Transport. It was really very terrible.

It was a very bad experience from the start itself of our trip. Please check your booking if it is written 1st class A/C is required or not be particular, because we ask to book for A/C booking for full trip but the main long trip Haridwar to Amritsar we got 1st class non A/c that to next to the toilet full night we had very bad time and our agent says its A/C booking . Overall service only 15% ok.
