We had taken the following package for SIMLA-KULLU-MANALI WITH THE FOLLOWING DETAILS FROM LIFE LINE TRAVELS. As per LIFE LINE TRAVELS advice, the driver reported on time on 16th May, 2013. While on reaching Simla, to our surprise, though we were booked in 3 Star Hotel Aachman Regency, but we were denied booking and were transferred to another nearby Hotel, which is no where close to any star category. This was Hotel Apple and was like a room in any Dharamshalla(Public Dormitory) without any level of any Star, though we were committed by Life Line Travels for 3 Star Hotels. The driver, who took us around, was TOTALLY ILLITERATE, ARROGANT, ILL BEHAVED, HAD NO CLUE ABOUT ANY OF THE PLACES/ROUTES, EVEN REFUSED TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. Next day, on 17th May, 2013(DAY-2), we were transferred to Hotel Aachman Regency as per the details provided by you. Visited Kufri and Chail by the Cab. DAY-3 Moved to Manali by the cab. DAY-4 A vehicle was arranged by LIFE LINE TRAVELS to snow point. No trip was made to Rohtang Pass. Visit was made to Snow Valley. No visit was made to Solang Valley. DAY-5 The driver refused to make visit to Kullu, though it is clearly captured in the programme provided. The driver had been saying that on 5th day we have to return back and he has no money for food, no money for fuel. After great follow up with Mr Pawan and Kanika of Lifeline travel, the driver agreed to go to Kullu. On the way, the driver started driving dangerously and started misbehaving. We immediately sent SMS to Lifeline Travels and advised that due to misbehavior of the driver and his refusal and unfriendly, uncooperative behavior and unsafe driving, we decided to terminate the trip and make own arrangement to return to Delhi using Volvo bus of HP State Transport. DAY-6 Tour Terminated due to mis-behaviour of the driver. DEFICIENCIES-MISBEHAVIOURS ETC. In short, the following were the deficiencies of the Leisure Holiday Sl No. Deficiencies/Items Missed as per the Itinerary Remarks 1 Stay in sub-standard hotel on day-1 2 No visit was made to Solang Valley 3 No visit to Kullu was made. 4 No visit to Vashist Springs was made. 5 No visit to Tibetan Monasteries was made. 6 No visit to Manu Temple was made. 7 No visit to Rohalla Falls was made. 8 Stay in Hotel Out Town was cut short by one day due to driver misbehaviour. 9 Travelled back with own arrangements. In our assessment, we had deficiency in the total programme as well as the additional costs and lack of the facilities and commitments unfulfilled costs to around Indian Rupees 20,000/- and would request Life Line Travel to compensate for this amount. Known as Snow Point, it is located between Beas Kund and Solang Village. 8 Return back to hotel. 9 Overnight stay at hotel Day05:- Manali- Kullu- Manali 1 After breakfast drive to Kullu,Kullu (45 kms/2 hours), there would be a half day sightseeing tour of Kullu. 2 Then proceed to visit Hadimba Temple: This is one of the most important temples of Manali and is called the Dhungri Van Vihar. 3 Vashist Springs: If you take a brisk half an hour's walk from town you will come across hot springs. 4 Tibetan Monasteries: There are plenty of Tibetan refugees at Himachal Pradesh and a large number of them can be found at Kullu. 5 Manu Temple: This is dedicated to the sage Manu. Just near the Hadimba temple flows the Manalsu River that culminates in the main Beas River. 6 Rahalla Falls: 16 kms. On way to Rohtang pass. If one goes to Marhi on foot from Kothi from the old road, the sight of the falls is fascinating. It is a good picnic spot as well. 7 Overnight stay at hotel. Day06:- Manali- Delhi After breakfast check out from the hotel & transfer to Delhi at your home.
