The trip was really very excellent. Wonderfully Planned and well arranged. The service of Sri Narendran, Driver was worth mentioning. He was wonderfull, cooperative and indeed an asset to the organisation. Eagerly looking forward to have more wonderfull similar tours.

We just returned from our excellent trip to North east India. We want to thank you and record our appreciation of your services which helped make our trip memorable. We found the hotels that you recommended to be among the best at each location that we visited. The hotels were good in terms of food, service and location. The transportation arrangements were good in terms of quality of vehicles and calibre of the drivers. We also appreciate your help and responsiveness in rescheduling our itinerary and hotel booking. We will certainly recommend you to our friends and relatives for their trips. Regards, Meena Newaskar

Dear Harjot and Himanchu, I am writing to thank you for arranging and managing our incredible journey in India. Apart from the misunderstandings with Juhu Travel in Mumbai everything went to plan and we were rarely disappointed. Our drivers were all excellent and particularly Jospir and Indra who cared for us exceptionally well, especially when we were tired and grumpy. Mumbai Our first trip to Elephantine Island went extremely well and Suresh, our driver from Juhu Travel, gave us an excellent brief tour of central Mumbai, which orientated us well for the following day. We were delighted to see Suresh the following morning and he did his best to keep us entertained whilst there was an argument going on behind the scenes about vehicles and guides. We were very sorry to transfer to the Traveller vehicle with a driver with less command of English than Suresh. The Residency Fort Hotel proved to be excellently placed for the port and central Mumbai, allowing us to explore on foot the immediate area. The rooms, although small, were well appointed and bathrooms and public spaces were well maintained and clean. The internet was available in the lobby and the staff very helpful, guiding us to a local diner for dinner. We had an excellent first dinner in India, overcoming our worst fears about curry and spiced vegetarian meals. Delhi We were pleased to be met on arrival by Himanchu and introduced to our driver Jospir and his assistant Indra. The Amber Hotel was very well appointed and the rooms and bathrooms were excellent. The staff were very helpful in opening up the roof terrace and providing heaters so that we could enjoy a drink with our friends from the cruise, who had coincidentally chosen this hotel. Luckily they had explored the local area and found the local centre for restaurants and shops otherwise we would have been at a loss to find somewhere for dinner. Our guide for the following day was very knowledgeable, but seemed disappointed and fed up with our group when we became tired as the day went on and the traffic seemed to be endless. We probably tried to do too much in one day and the remoteness of the hotel from downtown did not help. Jospir managed to pull us together in time to go to the Sound and Light show, which was not the greatest and we were unprepared for the cold night air. Agra We set off at a sensible hour for Agra using the old road, which although slow, was picturesque. Jospir showed incredible patience with our ?official photographer?, slowing and stopping at every photo-opportunity (markets, cows, goats, people, temples, overloaded vehicles) along the way. We were pleased to meet Ramesh and the local office manager at our lunch restaurant in Agra. Ramesh then gave us and excellent guided tour of the mini-Taj and the cross river view of the Taj Mahal at sunset. Our homestay accommodation was fine and our hosts kindly set too and prepared omelette and toast when we arrived late and too tired to go out to eat. Ramesh gave us an excellent dawn visit to the Taj Mahal, helping with photo shots and history. He then returned us to the homestay for breakfast before guiding us around the Red Fort. Ramesh was by far the most professional guide we came across. Jaipur Having left Agra late, we travelled straight to Jaipur, stopping for an excellent late lunch on the way. The Umaid Bhawan Hotel was amazingly ornate and the service, rooms and restaurant were excellent, especially with the inclusion of a band and dancers at dinner. Dev our guide was very likeable and gave us an excellent tour of Jaipur, visiting all the promised sites and giving us an informative tour. On our return to the hotel we decided that we would prefer to stay for dinner at our hotel rather than venture out again to different venue, after a long day. Pushkar The Pushkar Resort was pleasant, but being out of town lacked much character. The rooms were fine and the restaurant excellent. We understand that the hotels in town are somewhat dilapidated and your choice was the best available. Our guide Manosh was a local lad and, like Pushkar rather scruffy and laid back. He was not keen to hang around to see the Aarti ceremony but did stay with us to return us to Jasbir and Indra for the drive back to our hotel after sunset. Ranakpur Jospir persuaded us that it made sense to visit the Jain Temple at Ranakpur on our route to Udaipur to give us more time to relax in Udaipur. Despite the narrow mountainous roads this proved to be excellent advice. Our visit to the Jain Temple proved to be a highlight of the tour only bettered by the Taj Mahal. The priest who acted as our guide was extremely informative and the setting amongst jungle covered hills was beautiful. Udaipur The Ram Pratap Palace Hotel was very pleasant with excellent views from the roof terrace across the lake. Their restaurant by the lake proved to be excellent and breakfast in the hotel was very good. The staff were all very helpful and the laundry service and internet were of great use. An information brochure and fridge in the room would have been helpful and the lack of a lift could prove a problem to some guests. However its style and setting more than made up for these. Our guide in Udaipur was a very smart young man, who found our rather slow pace irritating. He gave us an extensive tour of the palace and local temple, and we very much enjoyed the boat ride on the lake. The following day having nothing planned, Jospir suggested we go on the cable car for excellent views of the area and then took us to some beautiful gardens to complete our appreciation of Udaipur. He then left us to explore the old town for final souvenir shopping. Jospir and Indra were up and ready at 5 for our early flight back to Mumbai and we were sad to leave them after their stoic driving and help throughout our long trek. Mumbai When we returned to Mumbai we were disappointed to not see Suresh, but the coach and our guide Francis, provided by Karmic Travel proved to be excellent. Francis was able to complete our tour of Mumbai and explain the aspects of the city which our previous extensive tour without a guide had missed out on. He also took us back to the Karmic office where the staff helped us print boarding cards for our BA flight the following day, for which we were very grateful. The Marigold Residency had good facilities and adequate rooms and the restaurant was excellent for dinner but a little chaotic at breakfast. Its position is good for the airports but not for exploring on foot. It is fine for one night in transit but the Residency Fort is better for several nights exploring Mumbai city. Summary Looking back on your plan and comparing the actual progress of the tour. I think your plan assumed we would be tired in Mumbai as if we had arrived from a flight. In reality we were rested from a cruise and keen to start right away. Conversely the tour in Mumbai at the end found us tired after an early flight from Udaipur and 11 days travelling. However our guide was very helpful and accommodating and completed our knowledge of Mumbai very satisfactorily. Our road tour from Delhi went well, and our driver accommodated changes when we were tired from the amount of travel and sightseeing. The hotels and homestay were all of a good standard. Some of our guides found us a difficult group to work with but Ramesh, Dev and Francis were all excellent. All our drivers were excellent in what, seemed to us, appalling traffic conditions. We cannot speak highly enough of Jospir and Indra. Overall we are absolutely delighted with our experience and are very grateful to you for devising and managing our trip so very well. We would have no hesitation in recommending your company to other travellers and if you wish to use us as references we will commend your company. Similarly if you wish to use any phrases, photos or statements in this letter for promotional purposes you are welcome to do so. Yours sincerely Patrick and Carol Dilley

We had a fantastic trip to Kashmir during August & September 2012 with our family and relatives. The accommodation, transportation and food arrangements were very well organised leaving no stone unturned. I will have good memories dealing with you and your company, Incredible Holidays. Infact, it was my first experience dealing with any Indian Tour Operator and thank God it was very peaceful except the moment when we had to wait impatiently at the Delhi Airport for your colleague to give him the balance amount of the payment. It was not his fault, he had newly joined your company and knew little about the Delhi Airport flight departures but he apologised for being late and showed his professionalism by calling us several time in Kashmir to know if we had any problems. Our itinerary ended peacefully and happily. We all enjoyed it specially my kids. Hats off to you and your team who were involved in arranging this itinerary for us. You have been very courteous in dealing with us all the way from the beginning till end. I will definitely refer you and your company to my colleagues in my company, friends and relatives who might be interested in excursions. I wish you best of luck and hope to deal with you again in the future.

Both my wife and I enjoyed immensely, our visit and tour of India. The color, sights and vibrancy of the country were breath taking and the people so very friendly and welcoming. Religious and historical sites were impressive with the Taj Mahal being the obvious highlight although Jaipur and Udaipur being of great interest. The tour was a good mixture of sight seeing and relaxation with Munnar and Kovalam being our personal favorite locations. The back water houseboat provided us with some of the best food during our whole visit which was a pleasant surprise. Quality of hotels varied greatly but on the whole met expectations, with some excellent locations such as Umaid Mahal in Jaipur, Santana beach resort in Goa and Kalathil Lake resort in Kumarakom being the favourites. The drivers provided did a good job giving good advice and acting well as tour guides (essential to have a driver when travelling in India). The young lady you provided as our guide of Tai Mahal and Red Fort in Agra was excellent and made the whole experience unforgettable. However some of the road journeys were long and arduous particularly from Ooty to Cochin which may be more easily covered by train. Would not hesitate to recommend your company and tour suggestions to others who may be interested in visiting India. Regards, Syd Littler

For India, our agent was Sourabh Chowjar, terrific, reliable, available all times. Great help in planning trip itinerary. Of course I was nervous. You have paper that looks different, vouchers and e-tickets look different etc. I flew Delhi, then to Jodhpur to meet my son. I traveled with my son for 16 days and we had a most wonderful time. Agent and driver at airports. Flight vouchers worked, hotel vouchers worked. We had an SUV and driver. Car was new. Our driver was called Onkar. Fantastic. SUV not much more than smaller 4-seater. Worth the space. We did mainly Rajasthan: Jodhpur, Ranakhpur, Udaipur, Bundi, Pushkar, Jaipur, Agra. Then overnight train to Varanasi (dirty but tolerable) and a day later flight to Delhi, overnight and flight home. Everything worked as agreed and planned. If they scheduled a guide, a boat tour, an elephant ride, it was all there and on time. The initial proposal was all 5* hotels, mostly American style. We dialed that down to economize. Soruabh then made other proposals, to use some other high end, some heritage hotels, some good class Indian hotels or havelis. Whatever they recommended I checked those using Agoda and Tripadvisor. Usually I agreed, or in the alternate, picked a name from among their top site porposed choices. Sites were accurate. Sourabh got all hotels booked for us. That changed pricing overall quite a bit. It is a great country to travel in and the company made it very easy. Make plans to get a local cell phone. We had one from friends. You can probably get a loaner from them. Calling the states is dirt cheap with local company. Great to have phone to get in touch with your driver. Say when you go out at night for dinner. Driver does not stay with you or your hotel. You will need an electric plug adjustor. ATM's are everywhere. We NEVER felt unsafe. It is a great country to travel in and the company made it very easy.

Our holiday was truly incredible....we are still talking about it and reliving the fabulous times and sights we experienced. Of course I will recommend you to anyone that asks. I have already given your Company name to a couple of people. Someone asked me if I would be happy to go back to India and my reply was 'I would go back tomorrow!! We absolutely loved Dehli - the good parts and the not so good parts...it is colorful and wonderful! All of the people we met were so friendly throughout the country. I was asked many times for photos (and gary occasionally too!) must be the blond hair..... The drivers were great throughout, very experienced and we felt very safe with them. 'Lucky', the driver in Shimla was brilliant with all the mountain driving....but they were all lovely and all very professional. Re the hotels: They were very nice in Dehli and Agra and Jaipur. The Himalayas were interesting..... the one in Manili was very nice but the restaurant had very lively music from christmas to new year.....and i mean very lively and very loud and a bit too much for us in the restaurant......the restaurant in town - Chopsticks was particularly nice so we ate there both nights. The hotel in Daramasala was very cold and we had to ask for a heater then pay a tip to get a second one. Not awfully clean either but possibly the best on offer at the time. The train to Dehli was interesting...I would have preferred first class but appreciate that might not have been possible. Goa is lovely and I have been there before. The first hotel on the river was my choice and was much too remote for us but proabably lovely for honeymooners etc. The Marriot was much more to our liking and i stayed there once before. Out of interest we upgraded our room to a beach room with a patio area - this was an extra ?50 per night but well worth it! It was a marvellous experience overall and probably the most interesting holiday we have ever had - Your itinery showed us so much - it was brilliant. Many thanks for your hard work and also to Himachal. We will come back again as there is so very much to see in incredible India. Kindest regards to you both adrienne and gary.

Although very belated feed-back from our trip is as follows ( did'nt expect you to still be there!!!!!) We had a most wonderful experience, although we were not fully aware of how things would work. Without the services of our driver we would have had a less enjoyable time. His attention to his duties stretched far beyond what would have expected & his explanations of the culture, fauna & wildlife of India truly made our holiday. Please commend Ravi Kumar to his employers & in doing so send our fondest regards. (a finer ambassador for India could not be found) Thanking you also for your endeavours, which we have recommended to friends, Best regards Alan & Ingrid Drew

We had a great holiday. The whole holiday was very good organised by Mr. Naveen Pathak from Incredible Holiday. The only two things to complain about were: 1. not all the drivers we had could speek english though it was in our contract 2. one hotel in Bodghaya was so bad so we had to change the hotel - Incredible Holiday solved this problem as fast as possible. The next time we come to India we will first contact Incredible Holiday and ask them for help and an offer.

Disappointed with them. Some of the hotels were of a very poor standard despite us requesting minimum 3 star hotels. The driver in UP/BIHAR did not know the roads neither was he aware of our itinery. There were no guides provided resulting in us being "ripped off" at certain temples. This was after telling them that we were on piligrimage and especially requested arrangements in Gaya.We arrived in Delhi at 4-00 am only to find that there was nobody to meet us. Road journeys were very long despite us making a request to keep these journeys short. There was no advice given to guide us and make the trip pleasant.i am still waiting for feedback and a detailed account from them(2 weeks).

12 December 2011

Disappointing on three counts: 1.Cottage booked at the Cherrai Beach Resort in Kerala for 2 couples turned out to be unsuitable as the second bedroom had no seperate access. 2. The crew on the 'Delux luxury' Houseboat provided at Allepy had no English or even Hindi, so communication was difficult and the service was indifferent. the bed sheets did not fit the beds, only 1 towel each was provided per double bedroom, AC in one of the rooms didn't work, throughout the night AC kept on swicthing off and on again with such frequency and noise that undisturbed sleep was impossible, fans rocked in the mountings and were noisy. 3. We were a party of 5 and on the last day of the tour 3 of us left on 8.35 flight from Kochi to Mumbai and 2 were to leaving on midnight flight to Singapore. our impression was that the chauffeured car provided for the entire tour would cover the 2 transfers, but Incredible Holidays incredibly interpreted that 2 drops to the Airport was extra to the cotract and when we refused to pay extra on principle, especially since we had not being compensated for the substandard service on the Houseboat, the Incredible Holidays withdrew the transport at around noon and my daughter and son-in-law had to get a taxi to Kochi Airport. This from a travel agent who promised to make it an immemorable holiday for us!
