Hope you are doing fine. I am fine too. Its amazing thing to get your mail because we were just talking about you and our previous and next trip at that moment. I am sorry for the delay in replying because this is the holy month of Ramadan and I am fasting all day long and at the end of the day I became tired. Anyway, would you please send the list of your package tour, that means in which places usually you make/operate tour. After getting the list I can fix the place of next trip.

I would certainly provide my close and familiar person to you who would like to visit India.

What a wonderful experience my trip to India was, and all thanks to HNK Travel Solutions.

I initially contacted several tour companies in India saying I need to go ?here, here and here?. All but one (HNK Travel Solutions) came back and said ?no you want to go there, there, and there!?. Within a few days Harjot Kaur and HNK Travel Solutions provided to me a colour presentation showing how she could make this trip work. It included hotels, costs, and detailed itinerary. Harjot made many changes, without complaint, over the next month as I altered my schedule several times.

I leave nothing to chance on these type of trips and want to know every little detail, and Harjot provided everything. I have done many of these trips before and know from experience things can go wrong. But nothing did his time, everybody was where they were meant to be and at the correct time.

My driver/guide Durgesh was at the airport to greet me, and then over the next nine days we travelled many thousands of kilometers to the places I needed to see. His appearance was at all times immaculate, and so was the vehicle. It was spotless inside and out and every night he washed the vehicle. Driving is India can be terrifying for anybody, but at all times I felt safe with him. I cannot believe that there is a better driver in India than Durgesh.

My hotel in Delhi The Royal Plaza was very good and up to North American standards. The other hotels were only tolerable. I expected that they would be and blame myself that they were not.The rooms and bedding were all clean, but the bathrooms were very basic. My suggestion to others is pay the extra small premium and ask for the best available.

My trip took me from Delhi to Agra, Kaladhungi, Nainital, Kausani, and Corbett National Park and Tiger Reserve. Everywhere we went and/or stayed the food was good. It was all Indian cuisine with no other options, so one had better like that type of food!

The highlight of the trip was spending three nights at Corbett National Park and Tiger Reserve. If I had a choice of either Taj Mahal or Corbett, I would pick Corbett every time. My driver/guide in Corbett was Kaeel, and he was the best. I saw and photographed four tigers in the wild! I even saw a baby elephant being born!

Harjot did an outstanding job organising this trip for me. No other Tour Consultant in India could have done a better job. I know how very difficult it was coordinating everything but she pulled it off. I will always be grateful to Harjot for her professionalism and attention to detail.

I am fortunate to have HNK Travel Solutions specially Ms. Harjot Kaur. She is very professional and dedicated to her job. She takes feedback on daily basis. The selection of hotels are excellent specially in Athirapally & Kumarakom. Driver Mr. Thomas is a good person and we are very thankful to him. In short it's a memorable trip for us and we will recommend them in our peer group for Kerala tour.

I was caught up with a lot of things post the lovely vacation and now that I finally have time I thought I would spend time to provide a feedback on the amazing holiday we had in India.

Overall
We had the best holiday ever where we did not have to worry about anything, a real fun filled relaxing holidays that gave us the perfect outlook of the golden triangle. We will certainly look forward to plan our next trip with HNK and as organiser will look out for you Harjot. The trip did live up to its expectation and as the itinerary said The tour ended with sweet memories. Wish HNK and Harjot success and will certainly recommend you if anyone is planning a trip to India.

Pre-Holidays:
HNK travel and Harjot you have been great in accommodating all my requests. It takes patience to deal with itinerary that keeps on changing. From North-East to Golden triangle you helped me to plan the perfect holiday and suggestions given really helped as we experienced it during the trip. The responsiveness to the queries were prompt and what i liked about it was though being in holiday planning business you were not too pushy for us to make hasty decisions. It really helps when someone wants to make holiday a memorable experience and does not push just to earn bucks.. Appreciate all the patience you have should and kudos to Harjot.

During Holidays:
We really felt cared and looked after during the holiday because when on reaching each destination we received a call from you (Harjot) asking us if we were happy with the journey, if the ride was good or were there any issues to be addressed this basically showed that you cared and wanted to ensure that any issues (if any) were sorted out.

Driver
Virendra- the best driver anyone canhope for. Punctuality was amazing in fact there was not a single instance where we had to wait at the lobby for Virendra to show-up. His dedication is commendable because he was smiling and willing us to bring around even when he was in pain because of his tooth. A driver with no vice habits and ensuring safety, talking and sharing experiences during the travel is the best thing to happen. The next trip i plan would certainly request Virendra to be the driver to bring us around. His driving skill is perfect. If possible would appreciate if you provide my feedback to him.

We were assigned Harjot who was very prompt in answering phones and was always willing to resolve any issue that could bother us. It was a pleasure dealing with Harjot. If there was only one issue, We will not choose Mountain club In Munnar. Club Mahindra where we were wait listed, would have been much better. Also, the houseboat , which was classified as Deluxe, did not appear to be so. So, although you deal with an agent over the phone, we realized there were many middlemen and some compromise could be occurring at any level. But overall, it was a very good experience. Thanks.

I am very pleased that I found HNK when I was looking to book a holiday as they did a fantastic job in arranging the ideal custom trip for ma and my companions. In particular I would like to thank Harjot Kaur for her professionalism and dedication. From the my very initial enquiry Harjot demonstrated that she really wanted the business and cared about satisfying my needs, she provided me with a fair price but then negotiated with me to match the price of a competing company. I would recommend (and have) anyone looking to book a holiday in India to speak to Harjot. The advertised trip "Captivating Kerala" The initial itinerary was attractive however we were able to customise the trip so it was exactly what we wanted. We changed some hotels, changed durations and due to work commitments changed our departure and return dates. Harjot accommodated all our change requests with no problem and a great attitude, nothing seemed like it was too much trouble. Thank you once again for providing us with a wonderful holiday.

Decent trip, some hotels were less than adequate and the itinerary was in some cases not fully well thought out.

The trip on the whole was enjoyable for all of us.

A) Accommodation: the accommodation was good.
1.Kumarakom back water : lovely but interior the driver had difficulty in finding the place. The accommodation was lovely and the host was excellent
2. HouseBoat: good and food were excellent
3. Kovalam: Somathirtham was paradise, we really really enjoyed the ambience
4. Thekkady: had English atmosphere, the amidst jungle and monkeys were enjoyable
5. Munnar: though the food was limited, they gave us such a lovely rooms we forgot all the inconvenience
6. Cochin: Grand seasons, initially it wasn't a deluxe room and we checked in midnight was bit dull, the last leg of the journey the room was much bigger, but centrally located.

B) Transport and Driver:
1. Innova was bit old since I expected a newer one
2. Driver was cautious and slow but was not v.familiar with places in Kumarakom and Kottayam
3. Only that driver over enthusiastic about his state of origin than the state we were visiting
4. He was a cautious driver

In a nut shell, we had a lovely time and the trip was memorable. Many had warned me that how a Delhi-based travel agent going to meet our needs , but i will not hesitate to recommend you to others.

I believe HNK did a very nice job with my travel package. I had a great experience with the various hotels I stayed in. They were unique and provided very good insight into India. My driver for the week was a very good man. I had 5 different tour guides. I was very happy with 3 of them while 2 of them were not exceptional. There were no issues with my itinerary.

Harjot was very professional with all the tour arrangements and with any problems we encountered and I would recommend her company if you are considering a tour in India. My advice to anyone planning a tour in India is to make sure you have an appropriate vehicle for the area you will tour... we had a Toyota people carrier for our Golden Triangle leg of the tour and again for the Buddhist Circuit and it was ok for the GT but a bit old, the BC leg was a newer model. Insist on a newish model if possible as they run there motors into the ground. The Buddhist Circuit was a different story. The roads of Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh/Southern Nepal are very poor when you get off the highway (and even some of the highways), so I wouldn't do this area again in anything less than a large 4x4 as it was very uncomfortable at times. Varanasi was fantastic and our guide, Sanjay, was first class, contact him directly or insist on this chap from you tour op... (guide_benares@hotmail.com). On the subject of guides. They were a bit hit and miss. Their english was often difficult to understand and all bar one took us to commercial premises on the pretext of a craft display (weaving or gemstones/silk making etc) where your given a brief demo then a long hard sell. You have to be firm and wise up to these tricks and insist on no shopping trips unless you want spend a lot of time being shown stuff... (to be honest some of it was interesting but didn't justify the hassle) Be prepared in Delhi. If you ask a cab or tut to take you to a market they will invariably take to to a shop (usually a Delhi Haat) where they get commission. You will be accosted on the street most places. Don't be directed to the nearest tourist information, it will be a guy arranging a tut to take you to his mates shops with the offer of a free map... Know where you want to go and insist on going there, if you arrive at a shop like the Delhi Haat you will be ushered in and over-charged for most goods although the displays are good, so be firm with the cabbies or they will take the piss. There are plenty of good market stall areas, try Dilly Haat or the underground Bazaar close to Connaught Place, in fact all around Connaught place there are street sellers and markets and the place comes alive at night... Bottom line, do your research. The food everywhere was generally fantastic (as long as you like a curry)... and the street fried samosas and pecoras were good but pick your stall as some were a bit grubby, look for freshly made or wait while they are cooked. If you cross the boarder into Nepal don't be taken in by the official looking guys on the Indian side who will tell you you can't change Indian roupees in Nepal and usher you over the road to change all your money with them. Although you get a normal rate you will be stung coming back. You can change Sterling, US dollars or Indian roupees for Nepalese roupees anywhere in Nepal. If your a first timer in India be prepared. You will need much patience with the locals... sadly you will be seen as a walking wallet and targeted by the scammers and beggars persistently. This is a reflection of the abject poverty suffered by many of the locals and the struggle to make a half decent living everywhere. Remember it is their country, adapt, be compassionate but don't be a mug... but mostly have a great time, it's an amazing place.

Good experience. The agents were always available and keen to help. The car was comfortable and the driver was excellent. Hotels were average except for the one in Jaisalmer. The train journey from Jaipur to Jaisalmer was quite disappointing. Overall a very pleasant tour.

Ms Harjot was very patient in working out the itinerary that fits my interest and had good suggestions. She did her home work in providing the necessary information. She followed up to check to make sure the trip was proceeding according to the plan.

Beth, Andie, Judy, Dave and I have been having a nice time here in northern India. Jaipur was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed many sites and even got to see the young Maharaja of Jaipur riding his bicycle around the City Palace. Our ride to Agra gave us views of many, many people flying kites. We visited Fatehpur Sikri on the way. The next day, in Agra, we had too much fog, so we did not see the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Instead we arrived around 9:00 a.m. and were absolutely amazed! What a beautiful place!!! We were so grateful to live to see it. Today we toured Delhi including Jama Masjid mosque, the Baha'i Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, and Humayun's Tomb. So much to see and not enough time to see it all. We had very nice and helpful guides, but none as great as you. I hope your train ride and trip back to your home was smooth and that all is well. Tomorrow we fly home and will be missing you and beautiful, exotic, exciting India. Thank you again for helping to make our trip so memorable.

Overall very good. HNK was very attentive to any issues that arose. Our trip was quite complex and tailored and I feel we received value for the money we paid. I have promised to send an overview back to HNK - not as criticism but pointers for additions/changes/improvements/suggestions to their service for North American/European travellers.

Overall experience was great. We really like Udaipur and Jodhpur. Great places, great landscape, amazing colors, good food.
If you travel with Hnk it all depends which driver you will get. We've been extremely lucky with our driver and our local tour guides. Still not sure if our driver or HnK chose the guides.

And main topic they have planned initially a small car for 4 adults where the luggage should get placed outside of the car on the roof. Only after massive intervention they agreed to provide a proper car.
But as said, beside Hnk - the trip was great.

I am glad to hear of your good experience travelling with us though you have acknowledged our people and not HNK. I would like to share that all the services were booked and arranged by us.

Further to your discomfort with the vehicle, we offered you a sedan car which is smaller than a Toyota Innova when it was just you and Mrs. Rankl travelling with us. Later on, when Mr. Everton and his partner were to accompany you I offered you Toyota Innova which is comfortable for 4 PAX and I did indicated this in my conversation with Mr. Everton. The entire situation occurred because of the excessive luggage and had I known of the luggage with you before the tour, I would have advised you to travel by Tempo Traveler. However, we offered you Innova at the first place but when it was informed to me by Mr. Everton at the time of airport transfer in Delhi of the difficulty in getting accommodated with the luggage, we arranged for an Innova with a different seating arrangement so that you don?t have difficulty getting transferred from Udaipur airport.

Sir, we aim at providing our guests with the best possible service and retain them with HNK. Therefore, we made 9 setter Tempo Traveller available in Udaipur at the earliest for free.

I hope you will acknowledge our efforts to make this trip memorable and request you to provide us another opportunity to serve you.

Despite telling HNK agent I wanted 5 star hotels, the hotels were not up to expectations. New Delhi and Jaipur hotels were really inferior and Driver English speaking was poor making for difficult communications. Too much time driving on tour. New Delhi city local tour guide took us to merchants we later found charged very excessive prices for what we purchased! Instead of warning about merchants guides emphasized buying from the merchants. I suspect the was some kickbacks going to local guides if we purchased at merchants guides took us to. One glaring example of overreaching by guide merchants was our request to be taken to local grocery store to buy local coffee. Instead of local grocery store we were taken back to merchant we already knew was overcharging. This Merchant wanted 8,000 Rupees for 1 lb of coffee that he was going to send his employee to local grocery to buy. When we bought at a local grocery store the price was 760 rupees for 2 lbs of coffee!!! Overall not satisfied with tour and very disappointed.

Sir, if you refer the e-mail dated 27th Feb 2015, it was clearly mentioned that you are looking for 4 ? 5 stars hotels for the trip and not specifically 5 stars. Hence I offered you the combination of it along with their web links given underneath each hotel name so that you can personally check their reviews before giving any confirmation to us. Also, this was clearly indicated in the last row of the accommodation chart to please cross check hotel?s reviews and its location before confirming the trip with us. All the hotels were booked only after seeking your permission so please don?t blame us as we have always kept clarity of all the services offered at the first place. Further to the discomfort at the hotel in Jaipur, this would have been sorted out if you would have informed as I called you each day to take your feedback on the trip. If this was informed to me at the same time than I would have arranged a better room for you in the same hotel. In context to your comparison with The Imperial Hotel of Delhi with the hotels offered by me, please note that this is the premium hotel of Delhi and is not just a 5 star. It?s almost three times the cost of the hotel offered to you and hence, it won?t be wise to compare it with the ones offered to you. Now coming to the guide, we hire the guides on day basis and generally the guides try to earn some money through sale at the local merchants store but not all the guides so it is difficult for us to communicate any such information to you in advance. But if it was highlighted at the time of the tour we would have certainly taken care of it. Moreover, it was entirely up to you whether you want to make a purchase through him or by your own so you could have either denied shopping through them or given me a call if they were forcing you to do so. As for the pricing system, in India we have both fixed and negotiable pricing but it varies shop to shop. Not all the shops or stores offer products on negotiation so you should have tried bargaining if you found that the things were negotiable. Also, as I have constantly mentioned that you should have informed me so if I would have known of your interest in shopping I would have suggested you the best reasonable markets at each place where you could have shopped at your own. If you recall I always told you to give me a call if you face slightest of problem during the trip and all these problems could have been solved if were intimated on time. We are responsible for the services offered in the trip as per the agreement between us and not for the things that you purchase through local markets or merchants because you never indicated about making any purchase. Now that the tour is over and we cannot amend what has happened but would request you to pass on the information to your agent at the first place whenever you travel next. I spoke to the guide about the copy of the receipt from the rug merchant and he has requested for the name and contact details mentioned on the merchant copy so that he can retrieve the receipt. Dear Mr. Verma, With regard to the rug merchant receipt the reason I asked you to obtain a copy from the rug merchant is that I can not locate my copy of the receipt or any documents on this merchant. I am supposed to receive a shipment of rugs from this merchant but I can not recall the name or phone # for this merchant to contact him regarding my shipment. The guide you provided in New Delhi knows the identity of this merchant and he should be able to obtain a copy of the receipt from 4/2/15 or at least the name of the business and their phone # so I can call them regarding my shipment. I would not have asked you to help with obtaining contact information on the merchant if I could locate any documents on this purchase.Therefore I am not able to provide you any information or documents on this merchant---this is why I asked you to have the guide obtain the receipt or at least tell me the name address email and phone number of the merchant so I can contact the merchant directly. I will appreciate it greatly if you will help me obtain this information. You are correct on my email mentioning 4-5 star hotels : I should have said only 5 star or higher which is my mistake. I think you misunderstood the intent of some of my comments about the Tour and your services. I do not hold you responsible or blame you for any of my purchases, good or bad! I was simply communicating that I think a foreign traveler may like to be told about the India pricing system as it varies from what we are accustomed to in America. Please be assured I do not hold you or the tour agency responsible for any decisions I made to buy anything or do anything when in India. I offer this comment as you may want to add this information to foreign travelers to assist them in dealing with India markets. Overall my son and I were satisfied with your services and the tour. I think nothing can be wose than dealing with HNK Solutions and especially Ms. Harjot. I know there are a lot of good reviews about Ms. Harjot. That was the reason in the first place that we decided to go with that company and especially asked for her, since people had especially written good words about her. However, I differ with many of those people.

The first thing that clients should do is, never agree to pay 100 % up front fe. This will inculcate some sense of customer service in representatives from India.

Secondly, the representatives should learn to say, Let me see what I cn do for you and try to find solutions to help the client and not use the line, " Sorry, we can not do anything".

Thirdly, try to be more transparent in communication. Ms. Harjot, expects that clients should not expect that there will be beds for every one, some may have to sleep on the floor. Clients should ask, specifically, if there will be mattresses or beds in five star resorts.

Lastly, Since the money is already paid in advance, it does not matter, even if the room given to you smells of SHIT, ( sorry, but that was exactly it smelled of in one of the five star resorts given to us).

I will strongly advise every foreign visitor to cal the resort directly and there is no need to use the services of any agent, as you will get much better value for money and more importantly, peace of mind and you will not have to scream and shoult at the inconsiderate attitude of the agents, who have already got the money and have no concern for however you feel.

Providing our guests with the best possible service has always been our mission. We have addressed the issue, and or, spoken with Ms. Harjot in question. We want you to know that:
1) We never mentioned of the hotels being 5 star and it was always said that these were among the best luxury properties of the place because the only available 5 stars are the properties owned by Taj which are way too expensive.
2) Though we took 100% upfront fee but we booked all the services as committed and gave all the confirmed vouchers well in advance without any failure.
3) We were always available at your service and responded to your calls each time you rang us. We tried to help you with the best possible solution but we are sorry to say that you were not ready to understand the situation and reach to a possible solution with a mutual consent.
4) We were always transparent on accommodating three persons in a room because in India hotels have a policy to either offer an extra bed or a mattress in triple sharing room and hence, it is not at all possible to go against the policy. But when you had trouble at Gir and were not ready to sleep on the mattress, the hoteliers offered you an extra room for a night without charging you. It was only when they had a booking for that room the following day they asked you to vacate and shift in one room as per the booking.
