Since very long I was longing for a trip to India but I was worried about arranging the trip and that was the main reason for our delay in making the trip. My Do Dham (Kedarnath and Badrinath) trip with Discover Bharat was a complete euphoric experience. Right from the start, Mr. Bhupesh Pant (My travel agent) was very humble and understanding. He took special care of our comfort during whole of the journey. The work of our driver needs appreciation because despite worse weather conditions and roads being rebuilt, he managed greatly and we travelled hassle-free. We were worried about getting good hotels but again kudos to Discover Bharat, hotels were nearly the same as promised, our stay was quite comfortable. Mr. Bhupesh remained in touch with us all 24 hours of the day and responded very patiently and gently all the time. I highly recommend DISCOVER BHARAT to everyone especially for Char Dham yatra. She is a very professional and a very hard working person and she coordinated with us from the day we booked our tour till the end of it (2nd August 2015). The trip we took thanks to Bharat Tours in Kashmir went according to plan. They were very helpful and matched our needs with the appropriate solutions ! I appreciated their professionalism as they were always reachable and took the care during the trip to check on us, to see that everything was alright. Though we only asked them to arrange for a car and driver they did so with good spirit and I would definitely consult them again for a further Indian trip.
It was horrible experience during whole trip. There are a lot of deviation from his word during trip, compared to prior booking. Discover Bharat Tours has no value for the Customer concern. Even during trip faced a lot problem from other side as well(Vehicle and Hotel) 1. Travel agent promised to provide good Vehicle for the trip. However provided vehicle for the trip was not in good condition. 2. They change the Hotel during trip and downgraded it from 3 star to 2 star hotel. Agent gave wrong information(1 Child was part of itinerary, and knowingly this was not provided to Manager) to Hotel manager to save the money. After several request, agent did not change the Hotel in Sitapur. He was insisting from day one that provided hotel is a very good. If I did not like hotel. He will change the hotel at run time. When I asked to change the hotel. He told that requested Hotel(Shivalik Sitapur) will cost IRS 30,000/-. I rejected the agent offer and booked the same hotel in IRS 10,000/- (agent was asking IRS 20,000/-). 3. I had heated discussion with agent regarding Hotel and Vehicle. All these was waste, agent overall aim was to make money as much as possible. 4. In fact, I got that there are many agent involved in a single booking apart from the front runner agent. The front runner agent contact to others agent to provide Vehicle and Hotel booking. I strongly recommend to do not choose "Discover Bharat Tours" Travel agent.
