Our tour was well coordinated by Lama Travel Solutions. We enjoyed our full tour except accommodation at Darjeeling. Hotel chosen for Darjeeling was not up to the mark and should not be used for future tourists. Staff of Lama Travel was excellent and all the taxi drivers were exceedingly helpful.

Love for the Himalaya is increasing day by day so this time we decided to visit the magical and enchanting Sikkim. (Trip duration 7nights and 8days) Did extensive Google search and landed on Hello Travel site. Based on the requirements, Hello travel team sent us Tours and travels agent details. So quickly, we accepted the quotation from "Lama Travel Solutions" and started planning and customizing our trip. Mr. Sachin from Lama Travel Solutions was very cooperative and supportive. He put all his efforts and helped us to organize the tour in a perfect way. Due to Bhutan trip work, Sachin got busy and Mr. Kumar took over to help us. At Bagdogra airport, Mr. Kumar was already present to receive us, with our driver, Mr. Mukesh. Kumar gave us some necessary document and we started our journey to Gangtok. Mukesh is from Darjeeling. He is a very kind and jolly person. It took us approximately 5 hours to reach Gangtok from Bagdogra. Next morning, Mr.Mani met us, who was our driver for north and east Sikkim. While traveling with Mani jee, we didn?t feel that we are travelling with a stranger. He is like family member to us now. For good part of the trip, Mr. Kumar called us several times, to check whether we are facing any problems or not. He was constantly in touch with us during our trip days and after we reached Mumbai. We had splendid days in Sikkim. Thanks to Mr. Sachin and Mr. Kumar from Lama Travel Solutions. Thanks to Mr. Mukesh for the wonderful journey to Gangtok from Bagdogra. Special thanks to Mr. Mani who treated us like family member during our trip and without him it was not possible to make this journey exciting and memorable.

Lama Travels service was good right from the day we got the quote till the end of journey, our holiday and made sure we had no problem with our travel plan. However the hotels at Pelling and Darjeeling are very disappointing as the staff had allotted us the worst available rooms in their hotels and were adamant saying these are the luxury rooms booked for us, they were even rude saying that the travel agent knows what type of rooms will be allotted if it is through travel agent as the agent will check the hotels before booking. Only after a brief arguments they have accomdated in better rooms as per our booking for Luxury/deluxe rooms. At Yuma , the staff were very rude and said these were the rooms booked and none other available, though plenty of rooms available they have denied alloting , only when we spoke to their manager we have been given better rooms. With this kind of experience from the hotels I assume that the hotels although we request for luxary rooms , allot the not so good rooms as they may be getting paid late or offer discounts to travel agents or some other reasons and give best rooms to the guest directly booked. This is my conclusion after the arguments with 2 hotels in pelling and Darjeeling.

The vehicle drivers were very experienced and have drove us safely in the ghat roads and were provided with good conditioned Xylo / innova for our journey.

Very Good. The agent selected was good. Mr. Lama kept personal contact all through the trip. Only a little hitch in misunderstanding resulted our Nathula Pass visit abandoned. The hotel at Gangtok - Samrat Residency could be a bit better in services and also the utilities in the rooms. Overall satisfying.

Thank you very, Tour was good and very much satisfied. Cedar Inn Family room is little smaller than expected other things were good. Pranay and Mani Bhai were also good. I will suggest next time plz do the booking directly with the Mayfair people, we know it was not your mistake for Mayfair. We were very happy with the Elgin property also, children's loved the property of Elgin very much. If any body wants to come I will definitely suggest Lama Travel Solutions.

I had finalised a 6Nights and 7Days package (31 May 15 - 06 Jun15) with Lama Travel Solutions after intensive internet research of tour operators. The package included 3 nights at Gangtok, one each at Lachen, Lachung & Darjeeling. Due to land slides North Sikkim trip could not go through. Lama Travel Solutions was able to chalk out an alternate customised itinerary which was enjoyable and comfortable. It needs a special mention that Mr Kumar Lama managed the whole thing (from initial interaction, followed by booking in Mar 15 and subsequent execution on ground) without meeting us even once in person. This is probably a testimony of Lama Travels Solution being a well-oiled machine which fulfills its obligation to clients in a very professional manner. The ability to get quality hotel accommodation at short notice during peak tourist season (necessitated due to changed itinerary) speaks high of their networking with hotels and standing amongst Tour Operators. Plan to avail the services of Lama Travel Solutions once again in near future.

Very courteous and prompt in their dealings. All the drivers they engaged were safe drivers. We particularly commend Prannoy who was with us for most of the time.

I was travel with lama travel... My tour was good till Gangtok after that Lama Travel did not able to manage the tour. They did not check background verification of driver (drinker driver) and the hotel provided by them in Darjeeling was the one the worst experience I have ever feel...... Hence tour was not so good not bad.... Need to Improve service lama travel.

rudly behaved harshly speaking driver, extremely bad or one may say worst hotel in lachen and lachung, pooor food, poor car. overall worst experience.
