We used IER Destination Management Pvt. Ltd as Shyam Thakur from this company was the first one to revert to your referral and we were happy with the pro-activeness shown by him and IER. Their understanding of our requirement was fine and he was able to tailor a package which perfectly fit our needs. The team goes the extra mile, let me give you an example of this, at one of the hotels my room was not very comfortable just by the mention of this, the agent called up the hotel to request change in room & this was done without any hiccups. My entire journey was memorable, trouble free & most important safe.

I can assure you that the Family enjoyed the trip very much. Thank you for the excellent arrangements that you made. There was absolutely no hitches. The hotels were very good, except that we personally did not like Cochin hotel as it did not have a bar. That was a personal preference. My wife and I are leaving on 17 Feb to go to Hong Kong to stay for 2 nights and catch the cruise on The Queen Mary 2 for 25 days, visiting Malaysia, Indonesia and disembarking at Sydney, Australia. IER - a great tour operator offering exceptional service We (mother and daughter) were extremely lucky to be supported by IER Destination during our recent India/Rajasthan tour. We chose IER Destination from four different tour operators who came forward with tour suggestions based on initial information received from us. From the very first email contact with IER Destination (Shyam Thakur) it became clear, that IER Destination is really about understanding what the client wants, expects, and wishes for. Also, IER Destination showed extreme flexibility throughout the preparation phase as well as the actual tour regarding changes, additional requests and queries. We had to switch itinaries several times in the preparation and also decided against some of the pre-booked offerings on the spot. Shyam always made it possible. We really appreciated that IER shared criticism they received from a client regarding one of the hotels that we had chosen for our trip as well. Although we decided to keep the hotel, Shyam called them to make sure our stay there would be perfect. He had probably done that with all the hotels as far as we can tell as all the hotels were very keen to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Thanks to IER we had a great mix of boutique-style four-star and five-star hotels. With one exception in Agra we loved all of them. Our tour included Delhi, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Ranakpur, Kumbhalgarh, Udaipur, Chittorgarh and Mumbai. The driver IER provided for most of our tour was extraordinary. Thanks to him we were driven in a calm and safe manner and could see many things along the way outside the ?official? itinary. A good driver is in our view essential for such a tour. Next to handling chaotic traffic he can provide an extreme level of flexibility regarding the schedule - in particular when time is scarce; if he is truly motivated to show you around it makes the tour extra special. Our driver also always ensured that we were spared the typical rip-offs - something that IER also tries and prevents. Eg they tell the guides not to go shopping with the clients as - at least for the guides - this can be very rewarding. And they give you advance-warning of tourist traps where necessary. Overall our guide experience was good with two exceptions. All guides (German speaking) were very competent, experienced and ? apart from the two exceptions ? very motivated and passionate. The one in Agra even took us to Fethapur Sikri, although this was outside the programm. And re the guides that did not convince us in terms of motivation: IER told us that we could always let them know during a tour if we are not happy with a guide. And we fully believe that IER would have done everything in their power to switch guides right then and there. We just felt that it would not be worth the commotion and besides - we had our great driver who easily could make up for anything we might have missed. IER ensured that wherever we went someone from the organization would meet us to ease check ins and give us a run down on what was planned for the respective area. Wherever flights were involved, we had the necessary IER support to deal with sometimes surprising demands from the airport officials. Shyam also helped us to realize side projects such as a cooking class that we were interested in and where we seemed to have trouble contacting the cook. Shyam took over and managed it all for us. Throughout the tour (and before) Shyam and IER stayed true to their slogan to be just one call or email away. We could even reach them way past office hours when an issue arose that we needed support with. We were very lucky that with Shyam and all the others we met or communicated with at IER we had such an honest, authentic companion at our side all the time. Communication had always been very open. In light of all this and many other things that go unmentioned we were extremely grateful for the services IER and Shyam rendered to us. We can highly recommend IER and look forward to their services to us on our next India tour. Thanks to IER we experienced a hassle free tour in which everything was taken care of so that we could fully concentrate on enjoying India and ourselves.

Arranging a tour with IER is highly recommended! I got in touch with the agency eight months prior to the trip, and during all that time Shyam was there to answer any questions or enquiries. I was amazed of the fact that he was always available even late in the evening and when he was on holiday himself. The feedback and response were 100% professional as well as personal, and it was my true impression that Shyam was very flexible and obviously concerned about making this the best trip possible for my family and me. When we finally arrived in Delhi, everything went extremely smoothly! We felt very safe with our competent driver and well taken care of by the different guides and representatives throughout the whole trip. Usually I always do all the travel arrangements myself, but in this case there is no doubt in my mind that I could never have done anything like this without Shyam and IER, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to choose them again, if going back to India in the future. I visited India in oct 2014 and hired IER to plan my trip. Overall a very nice experience in India. Thnx to IER who made it that way. Apart from some minor incidents (which I think is inevitable), everything was well planned. Choices of hotels also were very good. I would certainly recommend IER to everyone who's interested.

They were very helpful but i feel that they were inexperinced to handle foreign visitors

Really this trip was very bad experience to me & my family, the role of the travel agency looks like to welcome you in the airport in order to collect thier money, they had requested to get their trip cost before tour started, the lonly good thing is the driver who is very polite and cooperative in re-arranging the sightseeing activities. The overall rating for this trip through this travel agency is very poor and under expectation, despite many phone calls on daily basis to the person in charge (Shyam Thakur) to improve the accommodation status on the used hotels, with no feedback or any simple action taken. They booked us in very bad quality hotels, which considered as a three star catagory, while in fact it is one star level !!! I wonder why they booked us in a small rooms which can accommodate only a couple but not for a family with seven members, while wide rooms are available in the same hotels (money saving). IER Not recommended to deal with.
