Tome

Tome City is situated around 500 kilometers km north of Tokyo, and lies in the upper east of Miyagi Prefecture. Tome City is circumscribed by the regions of Kurihara in the west, Ishinomaki and Osaki in the south and, Motoyoshi in the east. The northern flanked of Tome is imparted to Iwate Prefecture. The western and north-east zones of the city are rugged. A tremendous plain extends through the focal point of the district which is fundamentally utilized for developing rice.

The dirt here is rich in supplements and is renowned for creating two kinds of rice called Sasanishiki and Hitomebore. The Hasama River and Natsu River gone through the locale from north-east to south-west. They cross at with the Kitakami River which goes through from the north toward the south in the eastern piece of the city. These waterways have demonstrated an extraordinary favorable position to the city for a long time for day by day exercises, cultivating and industry.
