About SS Badger

The ship carries between Ludington, Michigan, and Manitowoc, Wisconsin, interfacing U.S. Expressway 10 US 10 between those two urban areas. It is the last coal-terminated traveler vessel working on the Great Lakes, and was assigned a National Historic Landmark on January 20, 2016.
The ship is named after the University of Wisconsin's athletic groups, the Wisconsin Badgers. The Badger keeps running on Michigan time Eastern Time Zone, though Wisconsin is in the Central Time Zone and riders pay Michigan imposes on their charges. It keeps running on an occasional premise from May to October.
The S.S. Badger offers the biggest cross-lake traveler benefit on the Great Lakes and a real steamship encounter.
