Day 1:
We started our journey from Delhi to Coimbatore Ooty–Kodaikanal-Coimbatore early morning flight on 1st Feb 2019. Cab driver arrived at Coimbatore airport on time to pick up. We drove for around 4-5 hrs before we reached Ooty. In between, it was fun ride with pleasant sightseeing. We visited places like - Rose Garden, Thread Garden, Government Museum, Dodabetta Peak, Botanical Garden, Wax Museum and most importantly Tea Garden. It was so refreshing to see tea plantation. Simply wow!!! From there we finally went to our hotel – Hotel Lake View.
Day 2:
Next morning, after having breakfast, we headed to explore Ooty. We enjoyed the hill station view from every possible angle. Pleasant weather added to even more fun and goose bumps. And topped with Maggi at food joints was just amazing. We visited Pine Forests, Kamarajar Dam, Cine shooting Point, Pykara falls, Pykara Lake and Mudumalai Wild Life Sanctuary. After a well spent day and evening, we returned back to our hotel.
Hotel staff decorated the room with flowers as discussed. This was overwhelming gesture. Over all a nice experience with this hotel.
Day 3:
Next day, after having breakfast, made check out formalities and started our journey for Kodaikanal. Kodaikanal is a compact hill station with lush green valleys, terraced plantations and not to forget, a pleasant climate. The pride of Kodaikanal is the Kurunji flowers, which blooms only once in 12 years. On arrival, we checked into hotel, Hotel Kodai Resort and went to our Luxury Cottage.

After our breakfast and a short relaxation time we started our journey to meet Kodaikanal closely. We visited some of the very beautiful spots like Bryant’s Park, Coaker’s Park, telescope house Green Valley view point, Kurinji Andavar Temple, Silent valley View, Moer Point, Star shaped Kodai Lake. We returned back at night and stayed back at hotel.
Day 5:
Fresh morning with fresh travel goals. After breakfast and checkout process, we packed bags and proceeded to Coimbatore. A tiring journey as temperature increased making hard to enjoy. But thanks to the cab driver and AC cab arranged by our travel agents, we reached our Hotel- Heritage Inn and checked in to our Deluxe room. Took rest and headed for shopping in the evening.
Day 6:
Now the day to move back to pavilion, Delhi from where we started our journey, A bit difficult to accept that our trip is about to be over. After breakfast and checkout formalities, we were dropped to airport to board our flight and came back with all good memories.
