1. Karnataka Tourism Welcomes Investors To Invest In Golf Courses
Tourism Department of Karnataka is now focusing on the development of golf tourism in the state. The development of infrastructure for golf tourism will gain attention of international golfers to visit the state and enjoy this royal game on their trip. For attracting investors in this industry, tourism department has announced to provide incentives. The main intension is to organize international golf tournaments in the state and increase incoming of the tourism in the state. Government will provide subsidy and financial assistance to set up golf courses, as it will generate revenue for the state along with new employment opportunities.
The cities that will have these golf courses are Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hubballi, Coorg, Chikamagalur and Mangaluru. Further, along with this golf, other facilities like yoga, meditation, medical tourism and business will also be provided to the tourists. Moreover, for developing MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing and Exhibitions) centers, state government will focus on developing various facilities in cities like Bengaluru, Mysuru and other important ones. Thus, overall all these facilities will attract international visitors to the state and will enhance the popularity in international level.
