While, most of you were making failed plans to visit some destination in your holidays, there were three women who drove all their way right from Delhi to London and yes, they made it happen in less than a hundred days! And all of them were mothers in their mid-thirties.
Nidhi Tiwari, Dr Soumya Goyal and Rashmi Koppar had been planning this trip for some time now and yes, it does take quite an effort to drive 21,477 kms via road. To top it all, there was only one driver in their team. Nevertheless this did not discourage them and they faced heavy rains, high altitudes, snow and rough terrains bravely.
According to the reports, the threesome began their journey in June 2015 and travelled a whopping 600 KM each day. They started their journey from India, travelled through China, Myanmar, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany and finally reached the United Kingdom.

Nidhi was the only one who had prior experience in long-distance high altitude and off-the-road jeeping but this did not stand as an obstacle in their way to realise their dreams. They faced quite some troubles en-route which was quite expected. In many countries, they had to make their way with Google translate and sign language.
Another obstacle in their journey was the Myanmar landslide. According to Rashmi, they were stuck in Manipur when this landslide happened and the local people helped them. Not only that, they stayed with their families for quite some time and even tasted delicious home-cooked Manipuri food. This incident reinforced their faith in the goodness of humanity.
And to top it all, these ladies did not have any back up vehicle. Their Mahindra First Choice was undoubtedly their loyal fourth partner in the journey.
