Nahargarh fort is the first of three forts built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The fort is situated in Sawai Madhopur, in Rajasthan. It is located at the edge of Araballi, one of the largest mountains in the world. The fort offers a panoramic view of entire Pink City of Rajasthan. History says that the fort was named after the prince Nahar. It is said that during the construction of this palace his spirit troubled the area.
When it comes to defining a place which is the most exciting for a travel experience, food and cuisine definitely matter!
And there is no other place that offers exquisite food other than Rajasthan! Whether it is their amazing variety of sweet dishes or spicy snacks- one cannot easily forget the Rajasthani cuisine. The cuisine is inspired from the Rajputana culture and the dishes are influenced by the availability of the ingredients and resources in the regions. In fact most of the dishes can last for more than one day, given the non-availability of water in Rajasthan.
Whether you are in the city of Jaipur or Jodhpur or even Udaipur, don’t miss exploring the famous snacks items Mirchi Bada and Pyaaz ki Kachori. These delicacies are internationally famous, as you may get the snacks at other places, but the taste remains authentic to Rajasthan.
