1. Air India Tops the List of Renowned Names in Indian Aviation
According to the report in The Asian Age, national carrier Air India has topped the list of renowned names in Indian aviation while SpiceJet has stood alone first among private domestic airlines, followed by Jet Airways in second. The ratings are solely based on media coverage and reviews or air travelers using the services of these airlines. The survey was conducted for a whole year by media analytics company, BlueBytes, in association with research organization, TRA.
Pooja Kaura - Chief Spokesperson, BlueBytes, said “The survey was carried out in a total number of nine cities across the country. A brand perception study was also undertaken through interviews of 2,500 passengers from June, 15, 2015 to June 15, 2016 based on which, a 53-page report was prepared and the name were announced.” The report also declared Singapore Airlines as the leader among international private airlines followed by Emirates and Etihad on second and third positions.
