The ship has been billed by the company as "the World's First Smartship," just completed its eight-night maiden voyage from Southampton, United Kingdom to Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne. At 168,666 tons, Quantum is the third largest cruise ship ever built and boasts such groundbreaking features as a deck-top ride into the sky and a bar with robot bartenders. The 16-deck, 213-foot high vessel can hold nearly 5,000 passengers. According to the Royal Caribbean's website, the ship is offering an eight-night cruise to the Bahamas for prices ranging from $1,049 for an interior room to $2,699 for a deluxe suite.
