Air India is ready to introduce its new flights in international and domestic network. Travelers will have a direct flight between New Delhi and Washington that will be started from July and new flights between London – Delhi and Ahmedabad are in their final stage at Heathrow airport. After its completion, Air India will start new flight from Vienna to New Delhi and is expected to start from 6th April. Air India will operate thrice in a week on this route and will open new international routes for India. Along with the increased international flights, Air India is also expecting to provide its services in Tier III and Tier IV cities of India.
For this, Air India’s subsidiary Alliance Air has already started its flight service in cities like Gorakhpur, Gwalior, Nashik and Durgapur. Further, it is planning to add three new ATR 700 aircraft in the list for these small cities. As per experts the expansion of national and international flights from this airline industry, this move is considered and influenced by the reduced jet fuel prices by 40% that totally reduce the operation expenses of the airline.
