Mumbai The Land Of Dreams

Mumbai or Bombay is the biggest city in India as well as the commercial capital.. Like they show in TV series or in films, people call it the city of dreams.. People want to live in Mumbai and dream to have a home there- they want find their success and happiness and the city offers a perfect setting..

Mumabi is magical, even with its crazy rains and endless travels. As you start living in Mumbai, these become a part of the story that your life, you start living the city itself as if it has a life of its own. We have had countless songs and movies that depict the Mumbaiya life from various angles. But what makes the city so famous and attractive.. Let’s find out!

Having lived in Mumbai myself, I can tell you about my strange connection with the city. Originally a Delhite, the city was culture shock for me when I first moved in. People simply love eating bread with anything and everything, the rains don’t stop your routine or the local trains are the best means to reach any place in Mumbai. All these absurd yet realistic scenarios made a place in my heart!

The Vada Pao and other chaat at Juhu Beach is to die for. That is one reason I love Mumbai- its awesome street food and its enriching taste. Of course, there is no other place where you would find the yummiest cheese dosa at the cost of mere 70 rupees!

My  favourite places of hangout in Bombay included the suburbs, Collaba market, Marine Drive and the famous Carter Road. Mumbai offers another dimension when it comes to hanging out- the place is safe, and there is no worry for you to reach the home on a deadline! Of course, if you are looking for economical options, you have many famous local restaurants that offer authentic street food for you to experience zen!

Whether it is the lovely view at Bandstand or the Bandra Sea Link, the crazy lines to visit the Siddhivinayak or the massive crowds during Ganpati Pujja- Mumbai offers a life that isn’t even similar to any other city in India. I have always loved spending time in Mumbai, as it offers a great change from my Delhi routine. Mumbai is certainly a world apart, a city that helps you learn the nuances of life!
