In order to promote tourism in Kerala, its Tourism Minister, A.P. Anil Kumar will inaugurate three major projects on December 21, in the state that are aimed at developing tourism and providing reasons for visitors to visit it. Munnar Botanical Garden is set up costing INR 4.5 Cr. Other projects like Munnar Budget accommodation centre and Ripples waterfall have separate budget for each.
At this function, various popular authorities were available like V. Ratheesan, District Collector, Joice George, MP, Kochuthresia Paulose, President, District Panchayat, etc will deliver keynote and will promote tourism here. This project will be constructed in the model of Ooty Botanical Garden.
Further, tourism minister said that this project would have decent plants that will be highly suitable for visitors to have rest, break and enjoy cool natural environment.
