In order to promote global tourism and attract more visitors to India from foreign countries, meeting of United Federation of Travel Agents’ Associations (UFTAA) Board was held to discuss various issues and facilities that can be strengthen to provide friendly culture and environment for foreign travelers. This meeting was held on January 28 in New Delhi where Sunil Kumar, President, UFTAA also announced that Jay Bhatia is appointed in the Global Tourism Committee who is also the Honorary Treasurer and Chairman Tourism Council of Travel Agents Association for India (TAAI) in a Northern Region meeting of TAAI.
In this meeting, presentation on NewGen ISS and NDC was also provided by Vice President, UFTAA, Yosi Fatael. In his presence, Sunil Kumar further stated that members of travel trade associations who are also the members of UFTAA will also be provided affiliate membership of global body at subsidized rates of EUR 100.
