1. Vacation More Important than pay rise
As per Expedia’s 2015 Vacation Deprivation Survey, India is emerged as fourth vacation deprived nation globally. This result of the survey is based on the 2015-year vacations taken globally. In the survey, around 65% of the Indian’s say that they are somewhat deprived of vacations. Around 54% of the Indians give high attention to more vacations rather than pay rise. This is because; vacations are the best element to rejuvenate the lost energy and refresh to face the new challenges of professional life. Thus in India, about 94% of professionals are desperate to have an extra day vacation and to get it, they are ready to makes various sacrifices.
Recently this year as per the survey, due to various work reasons, they are compelled to cancel their vacations and work additionally. Due to the set mentality of Indians regarding their working days, it is also noted that most of the Indian’s take less leaves than they are provided for entire year.
