Indian Government Holds Announcing Amitabh Bachchan As Indias Tourism Ambassador

Tourism is emerging as the greatest source of income in the country for government. For this, government is taking various steps to attract more international and domestic visitors to various parts of the country. Recently legendary cine-star, Amitabh Bachchan was considered to be appointed as the Ambassador for Incredible India designation marketing campaign. The final announcement is yet to be made of the name.

With the recent wake of report, that figuring the name of Amitabh Bachchan in Panama papers, the government has put a hold on the announcement. As per source, government was all set to make this announcement before this report this month; however, the concerned department will take some time to decide on finalizing the name. The government will soon consider the name for promoting the tourism in the country and is likely to announce Amitabh Bachchan as the brand Ambassador after deep consideration and clearance of the Panama paper issue.
