Indian E-Tourist Visas – USA and UK Remain Same as Biggest Markets

From this year’s e-tourist visa count, travelers from UK and USA continue to the largest in number for the Indian e-tourist visa applications. The report of Indian Tourism Ministry shows, a total of 68,487 of international tourists have arrived our country on e-visas in previous month, which is a huge 219% growth compared to the exact same month previous year.

Tourists from the United Kingdom has accounted for 17.7% of the total e-visas issued this month, while the US has got the second position with total 16.2%. From other countries, France has got 6.7%, UAE - 5.9% and China - 5.4%. This continuing year the Indian e-visa program has marked a significant jump with a total 266% rise compared to last year.
