GoAir has chosen Airbus for its further expansion plans by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Farnborough International Air Show for 72 A320neo aircraft. The carrier announced its latest order following a similar agreement for 72 A320neo which was placed in 2011, bringing the total order book to 144 aircraft.
The first two A320neo aircraft from this order were delivered in previous month. With this NEO expansion, GoAir targets to expand its network, offer fliers better connectivity worldwide and continuous growth as one of India’s preferred low-cost airline. The GoAir CEO – Mr. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer said “The new A320neo will provide us the competitive edge to achieve our future growth targets and help us strengthening our presence in the wider region. It also delivers GoAir’s commitment to provide the most comfortable, modern and excellent air travel experience to all customers.”
