1. Mukteshwara Temple

4. Lingaraja Temple
Bhubhaneshwar which is regarded as the capital city is also known for this Lingaraja temple. It is one of the oldest temple situated there. Every year a number of religious people visit this place. It depicts Kalinga architecture. Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of Kalinga. At one side of the temple, Bindu Sagar lake flows which actually surrounds the temple. It is even the largest temple and receives the maximum number of devotees.
5. Vaital Deul Temple
In the present time, it is one of the oldest temples which we can see. This temple was built in an early 9th century and is devoted to eight armed Goddess Chamunda. It is present in Bhubaneshwar. Chamunda is a ferocious facade of Hindu Goddess Durga. Her name is made from two devils ‘Chanda’ and ‘Manda’ who the Goddess actually killed. Even a close resemblance to Kali who is another version of Durga can be seen here.
