Trip to Mahabaleshwar, panchgani, Shirdi

Hi, I am Abhishek Sharma, travelled to  Mahabaleshwar, panchgani, Shirdi. It was really an amazing trip. Day 1: We started our journey from Pune to Mahabaleshwar around 10:30am on 26th Feb. Cab driver Tarun arrived to my residence on time. I actually shared my address via WhatsApp and the same was shared to Tarun by them so he was able to travel swiftly to my pick up address. We drove for around 4 hrs before we reach panchgani. Here we visited a local brand factory for jams. These hill stations are actually the center for strawberry farming so u will find them in abundance over here. A must taste thing i would say. From here we directly went to our hotel - hotel residence, had our lunch and took a short break before we started our foray to local sight seeing places like -Parsi point, Wilson point, Veena lake. Came back to hotel by 7:30pm in evening. Since we didn't find our hotel lunch that good we went for dinner with a nearby restaurant- Gokul's Food Planet. They are a good option in panchgini if u don't find hotel food up to the mark.  Day 2: We visted Mahabaleshwar temple the next day early morning around 8am. There was no rush at all. Infact we were the only visitors apart from pandits and locals around the temple at that time. It was a peaceful experience. After our darshan we visited a few local sight seeing points - Elphinstone point, Savitri point and Arthur's seat. Came back to hotel by 10:30am. Hotel staff was cooperative enough to keep our breakfast in our rooms itself as the timing for breakfast was only till 10am. After our breakfast and a short relaxation time we started our journey to Shirdi. It was going to be a long travel of 7 hrs so we took a break at around 3:30pm and had a lunch in restaurant- Hotel Area 84. It was a decent outlet on the way itself. We reached Shirdi by 6:45pm. As we were exhausted by the travel went straight to our hotel and checked in. We stayed at hotel Satyan inn. Rooms were clean but the pipe- fittings or door handles were about to come out. This is something that needs to be improved. We stayed back for dinner in hotel itself and again the food was not that good. Day 3: Next day early morning we went for Sai Darshan. As the hotel was almost walking distance from the temple we reached temple swiftly. Though it seems crowd starts to come in by morning 6 itself so it was a bit crowdy by the time we reached. It took us about an hour to take the tour for entire temple. We reached our hotel back by 9:30am after the darshan and a few local shopping. Had a south indian complimentary breakfast in the hotel. After an hour rest we started our journey back to Pune. We reached here by 3:30pm filled with beautiful memories and exhaustion from the long travel.  Again it wouldn't have been possible without the support from Grab your Holidays and Hello Travel team, so thanks to them to arrange such a trip at a very short notice.   Book your Mahabaleshwar tour packages at best price with HelloTravel.com & get exciting deals on Mahabaleshwar vacation.
