Delhi Successfully Conducted 29th Garden Tourism Festival

Delhi has organized 29th garden tourism festival in the city to educate tourists on the importance of gardening and its contribution on the environment. This gardening tourism festival also states the importance and contribution of gardening in controlling noise and air pollution. The festival was inaugurated by Deputy Chief Minister, Delhi Manish Sisodia in presence of Kapil Mishra Minister for Tourism Delhi. The theme of this gardening festival was “Garden for Environment and Health.” This festival showcased various plants that are suitable for kitchen garden, indoor areas, home garden, etc. The collection was available in Floral Animals, Medicinal & Herbal Plants, Hanging Baskets, Bonsai, Bougainvillea, cut flowers, Potted Plants, Foliage, Dahlia, Roses and Cacti that were displayed in the festival.

The festival well disseminated the message that how the medical plants contribute in the overall health of citizens and its various medical qualities. In order to gain the attention of large visitors, an adventure park was created where visitors can enjoy various adventure activities. The activities consists of Lectures, Nukad-Nataks, Mini Food Festival, Magic show, etc. This 3-day festival was able to attract more than one lakh visitors from various parts of the country.
