From the current budget on culture, the Government has cleared its vision to enhance and boost the cultural of entire Indian by providing sufficient funds for both under Plan and under Non-Plan expenditures. The budget is allocated as Rs. 1755 and Rs. 745 respectively, which is increased by 17.30% as compared to the last year’s budget.
The budget is provisioned for various schemes and institutions that like Archaeological Survey of India, centenary and anniversary celebrations of famous personalities along with Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojana. Budget is also allocated for protecting available religious places, World Heritage Monuments, museums, pre-historic stone-age sites and forts.
