Air India Passenger To Report At Airport 3 Hours Prior To The Departure Of Flights

Due to tight security at airports, Air India has issues new advisory for its passenger. In this advisory, passengers have to report at airport before the three hours of flight so that a strict security check can be performed for passengers/baggage. This advisory is also issued to avoid any delay in flights due to these measures that are important at airport before flight. 

The time is different for both international and domestic flights. For domestic flights the reporting time is 75 minutes before the flight and for international flights, passenger have to report at airport 150 minutes before the departure of the flight. In order to implement this procedure, the check-in counters for domestic flights will be closed before 45 minutes from departure of flight and for international flight; they will close before 60 minutes. Moreover, counter will close before 60 minutes before the flight departure for both domestic and international flights. Further, the boarding gates will also be closed 25 minutes before the departure of flights.
