As per current announcement, Air India will not charge any ticket rescheduling or cancellation fee for travel to and from Kashmir. Air India officials have decided to waive no-show and cancellation charges from the customers who had booked their flights to or from Srinagar due to the prevalent situation in Kashmir.
An Air India spokesperson said “The airline will also not charge any amount for the rescheduling of pre-booked flights. The newly announced norms will be applicable for both domestic and international flights, to and from Srinagar. The norm will only applicable on tickets booked before July 9 for travel up to July 11. At present, all the domestic airlines charge a heavy fee of up to INR 2,000 from air-travelers for ticket rescheduling and cancellation.
