Starting from this December, Air India has decided to upgrade its Delhi – San Francisco tri-weekly route to a non-stop daily operating route. Air India launched flight from Delhi to San Francisco in last year December, and the tri-weekly flight has been constantly getting enormous response and high occupancy from that time. Delhi - San Francisco direct flight has only 17 hour flight duration, and it includes in the list of one of the longest travelling non-stop international flights.

The return economy fare on Delhi - San Francisco flight was in-between INR 87,000-96,000 this summer. Other airlines are providing the same journey ticket starting from INR 60,000, but the flight time of them are nearly double to Air India’s time. That’s why Air India is charging a little premium compared them. Despite the higher price, customers are getting hugely attracted to the Air India’s offer rather than choosing other premiere air carriers.
