1. Mount Abu

The only hill station in Rajasthan which is located near the Gujarat-Rajasthan border is one of the best Honeymoon getaways for newlywed couples. The hill station invites a lot of tourists throughout the year. Navratri is one the best times to visit this place and it also serves host Summer Festival as well as, Winter Festival.
Best time to visit Mt Abu is throughout the year.
How to Reach - Luxury and semi luxury buses are available to Mt Abu. Trains are also available along this route.
A rented cab or a private vehicle will take around 5 hours to reach since Mt Abu is 400 kms away from Ajmer.
Things to do - Sunset point, Mt Abu Wildlife Sanctuary, Gaumukh temple, Nakki lake

2. Udaipur

It’s no surprise that Udaipur has made its way into this list, am I right? Fondly named the little Venice of India, Udaipur is a dream come true. Known for it’s rich culture, monuments, history and the FOOD, it has recently become one of the hot places for destination weddings. Udaipur hosts a lot of festivals. The World Music festival 2017 will be held in Udaipur in December 2017.
Best time to visit- Ahmedabad is  between September to March when the temperatures are comfortable for sightseeing.
How to Reach - The Ajmer-Udaipur route is frequented by a lot of AC buses/ non AC/ luxury and semi luxury buses.
Trains are also available along this route. A private vehicle/ rented car will take around 4 hours and the distance is 270 kms.
Things to do - Udaipur city palace, Lake Palace, Monsoon Palace, Lake Pichola, Museum, Jagdish temple.

Chittorgarh is based on the banks of river Gambhiri. Famous for its Chittorgarh fort built in the early 7th Century AD. In fact, The Chittorgarh Fort has been d as the World Heritage Site. 
Best time to visit - Chittorgarh is between January to March and September to December.
How to Reach - More than 20 trains are available between this route. The distance is around 260 kms. 
A private vehicle/rented cab will take around 4 hours for the journey.

4. Jaipur

A beautiful amalgamation of the old with the new, Jaipur is and enthralling, enticing, charming and stunning experience. Also called as the City of Palaces, you’ll feel no less than a Royal when you enter this charming little city.
Best time to visit -Jaipur is between November to March.
How to Reach - This route is very popular and 50 trains are available for the journey. Buses also run frequently in this route.
Distance between Jaipur and Ajmer  is around 140 kms. A drive will roughly take 
Things to do - Jantar Mantar, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Jaipur Literature Fest.

5. Jodhpur

One of the prettiest and the most enchanting destination in Rajasthan, Jodhpur is famous for it’s beautiful display of blue rooftops. Known for rich architecture and lip smacking delicacies, you know you NEED to be there to experience it all.
Best time to visit Jodhpur is between November and February.
How to Reach - Direct Trains are available from Ajmer Junction to Bhagat Ki Kothi to reach Jodhpur. A private vehicle/rented cab will take around 5 hours to reach.
Things to do - Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Tada, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Shopping, Balsamand Lake
