1. Visnu Siva Mandir

This temple is located in Mawson, Canberra which helps people to go and perform spiritual activities. This temple also has a library for people where people can read and learn about culture and religion. This temple is maintained by  Mandir Society of Australia. All the festivals related to Hindu religion are organized here. The most prominent deities present over here are Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesha, Lord Murugan, Goddess Maha Devi, Lord Rama and his consort Sita and brother Lakshmana, Lord Hanuman, Lord Prasanna Venkateswara and Radha and Vishnu incarnation and Lord Krishna.

This is another great and beautifully made temple which is a part of the Canberra. This temple works for the protection of cow and like other ISkon Temples fulfils all the seven purpose of living a good life by following the ideology of Lord Krishna. At this temple, you can experience regular meditation and music sessions. Even Sunday Fest is also there on every Sunday so that people from the community can join together and indulge themselves in the prayers.

3. Sri Venkateswara Temple

 

This temple is situated at 400 ft hilly area in Helensburgh. It is quite a famous Hindu temple. It is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara or called Balaji. It is present amidst the grooves which makes it definitely a worthy place for visiting. For this temple, there are a number of programs organized by the community.  Even the programs are telecasted on a number of channels. There are a number of workshops organized in this temple and even people are made to read scriptures, listen to the chanting of slokas, poems, bhajans etc.

4. Hare Krishna Iskcon Temple

 

 When we talk about Australia, this is the oldest ISKCON temple which is situated in Melbourne. This temple is present since 1975 and was inaugurated by Srila Prabhupada who also started deities of Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda, Sri-Sri Gaura Nitai. Deities of Sri Sri Radha Ballabha and Sri Gaura along with Lord Jagannath, Lord Baladeva and Lady Subhadra are also present there.
