Tunnel No 33 on the Kalka-Shimla train route is considered as the most haunted places in Shimla. A British engineer named Captain Barog was in charge of building this tunnel but he was unable to do so. For this, he was fined by British and in that humiliation he killed himself. It is believed that his spirit roams in the tunnel and build a friendly acquaintance with people who notice him. Even some people have noticed a woman running and screaming into the tunnel and who suddenly vanishes.

It is a century-old castle which stays empty and was constructed in the British Era. Further, it was rented to the British officer Victor Bayley and his wife in 1913. When the officer started staying, the locals explained him the haunted stories about the place. So to check that officer locked the room which was considered haunted. After some time when he opened the room, he found it totally shattered. From that time it is believed a haunted place and people don't visit it.

This is one of the largest medical set in entire Himachal Pradesh. It is also on the list of most haunted places. It is believed that the patients who die in this hospital become a ghost and make weird noises and push people on the staircase. Even there is a forest nearby to it where a ghost of orange seller roams, as explained by the people.

This place is quite scary as it is believed that on Friday and if the date is 13 a headless horseman comes who offer rose to a girl. If she accepts it, she takes her along and if she doesn't, the horseman kills the girls.  Even in 2012, two students of fourth grade committed suicide in the school and it is said their soul roams in school. So people usually found mysterious activities at this place.

This road is situated between Shimla highway and Chota Shimla. It is said that the speed of vehicle automatically slows down on the road and women in white clothes appear who asks for a lift. If you deny her, she would then also sit in your car and will stare constantly at you. Even there are other incidents reported when the accidents occur on this road

It is quite a ravishing house on the hill of Shimla. It is assumed that the ghost of an old man wearing a white gown roams here. According to the stories, in the British era, this man shot himself in the house.
