About Pollena Trocchia
Pollena Trocchia is an Italian city of 13,458 inhabitants of the metropolitan town of Naples in Campania. Both villages boast Etruscan, Samnite and Oscan origins these peoples, attracted via the slight climate and the fertility of the area, settled at the slopes of Mount Vesuvius which in historical times turned into a monocyte volcano, this is, with a single summit and in which they dwelt until the purchase of the Roman camp by way of the Romans, which made the complete place among the cities of Naples and Nola a hotel place.
Pollena owes its call to the cult of the god Apollo, to whom a as an alternative essential temple turned into dedicated in the pre Roman and Roman times indirect proof of this is the fact that in the length of Christianization the primary church of Apolline became dedicated to Sant Apollinaire thus setting up a kind of continuity with the pagan cult, at the least in its name. There is, however, a supply taken from the toponymic dictionary that would derive the name of the country From the Latin adjective paululum this means that small or maybe of a few devices relating to the wide variety of dwellings.
